Chased by painful memories, Martha (Elizabeth Olsen), the heroine of film "Martha, Marcy Mae, Marlene", escaped from the sect, trying to re-start life in her family, with her older sister Lucy (Sarah Paulson) and her husband Ted ( Hugh Dancy).
