this game is for vista only and must be activated to even play without a valid key it is basicly just a waste of space.

@ bluelink: How'd you get it work over Hamachi? I've tried it along with a bunch of other people and we can't see each others' games in the list. Any ideas?

To all u punx having getting the Windows live error. Try this... open ShadowRun.exe.cfg with notepad and at the bottom where it says make it true if it isn't already. GLHF If someone could solve the orange/yellow/pink gfx issue i would love u forever. I have a 9800XT 256mb ... could anyone else having this prob tell me if they got ATI card? Ta JDiD

Haggis1, I'm on vista, so that must be the reason that it don't crash for me. livewire86, you should try to ask one who run a hamachi server for shadowrun, since i've heard thats it should be fully possible to get the LAN game to work over hamachi. Cheers

alright, my game works, but for some reason i can't connect to anybody else via hamachi. i have vista and one hell of a rig, so idk what wrong. if someone wants to remote connect to my pc or chat with me on hamachi plz do.

Join the club.. I have yet to find anyone who can actually get Shadowrun to work over Hamachi, the few successes I've heard of were from people who heard that somebody else had done it, they had't done it themselves. i downloaded and properly installed the crack but it wont let me use my existing live profile...whenever i click that option it asks me for a 25 digit key?!?!? what do i do? i want to use my profile

Could someone please help me. When I turn all of these unknown files into an ISO it doesn't do anything. Daemon tools and Alcohol do nothing. When I look inside the ISO file it's the same unknown files that I made the ISO file with. Any help would be appreciated.

Alright I didn't explain enough sorry. So I have all of the files in their current unknown format. I turn them into an ISO file. Now how do I turn the ISO into the actual game files? I mount it on to a DVD and all that did was put the 001 002 003 etc files on to the DVD. Where is the actual game, the files for the game, instead of these 001 002 003 etc files.

sumwar: Download and install WinRAR (www.rarlab.com) and open any one of the "wierd" files with number extension using winrar. Extract the iso file inside and mount with daemon tools

I did previously try to explain how to avoid the serial-prompt problem, but seems my post was deleted or something. If you're running winXP then copy the CONTENT of the "xp" folder, NOT THE FOLDER ITSELF and paste in Shadowrun folder. My problem now is that the game chrashes whenever i try a botmatch (and since i can't play online all thats left is the tutorial >.

ATTENTION ALL PEOPLE TRYING TO USE THEIR LIVE ACCOUNTS.. the way gfwl works, is by having a serial key, which is used for validating your game for online, but if 2 simultanious games use the same key, both games conk out. the loophole to this system, is that ALL gfwl keys work with ALL gfwl games. meaning that you could buy, say, halo 2 pc, and use the key for halo 2, shadowrun, and any other gfwl games you can see. also, please stop asking for a key/keygen, gfwl has hand-crafted (or machined, whatever) keys, meaning that for a keygen to work, it would have to haxx into microsoft's servers, and add the key to their registry, hence, a gfwl keygen will never happen.
