I've done everything, plus reinstalled the game, but I keep having an issue where the mouse doesn't respond in-game. For example, I'll move the mouse to attempt to change the camera angle, but nothing happens. It comes and goes which gets really annoying. I'm running Win XP SP3, help is greatly appreciated.

I would not advise people to download this, sorry but my anti virus detected keyloggers and loads of other stuff, i regret waiting 2 hours for it to install and he says you cant do nothing while it's downloading (which i did) and i had to delete the game straight after.

I got the game working and hav played about 25% of the missions, but now it freezes at the exact same point everytime. Its in the first mission in san ferrio, called something like 'wear flowers in your hair'. You have to drive to a garage and park up in a red area and beep your horn and i wait a second and it comes up 'gta-sa.exe has stopped working'. Does this every time . EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!! What you do is extract the RAR files then you must Rename etup.bat to setup.bat or it won't work at all. Then double click on _install.bat and wait for a few seconds. then press any key to continue. then wait a few hours ex 2-4hours maybe more.

After the speedy download, I ran the installer, came back after it completed and Trend Micro AntiVirus detects that the trainer is infected with TROJ_GENERIC.ADV I thought well, I'll just go with what TOED says and figure it's a double negative or whatever and the gta_sa.exe DOESN'T WORK! Um... its me and b4 my Gta had worked perfectly and today wen i tried to click on san andreas.exe it came up on AVG with a trojan and i accidentally pressed "move to vault" then it put it in there and now the gta.exe neva works..... i deleted the extracted folder and **** and i installed it from the beginning but it still doesnt work anymore..... any suggestions?

after you've install or extract the game, remove the "_install.bat" file and create a shortcut on your desktop (I hope you know how to create shortcut) then run it!

I've installed this game on 2 of my other PC's and they worked just great...so thanks!... +1 By the way, I certify this torrent is absolutely virus free. I've got two computers, one with AVG & Avast! an other with BitDefender. When AVG & Avast! flags it as a "what-ever" virus, BitDefender doesn't report it in any way.

Oh dear... Right... For me now, it ALWAYS crashs about...3mins into the game...and I have to 'kill the process' using task manager...which basically means, that i cant do any thing now. It has only just started, and i am doing the Badlands missions. But I have tried other save files, and they crash as well. I have set everything to low, and yet it still crashs... I have re-installed it 3 times, with no background work or anything. Help would be much appreciated, as I really want to complete this game without it crashing every 3minutes.

Ah, no worries, i got it workin again ...for now and @mbishop012000 Yeah, it is, but it wont be like proper radio stations, and you wont be able to change them, all you would have to do is download the radio stations and put them in the 'User Tracks' which is found in 'My Documents'

@ToeD Well, I turned off my firewall, disconnected my internet, and just left it alone...but it seems to be working for the moment, But at first, when ever I clicked on it, it said 'Unexpected Error' cr/\p, but I just renamed the folders and it worked. Also, Do Car mods work for this? @RussF8 good!, make sure you click onto the redball icon (my intro) after renaming, otherwise you have good a chance of receiving in game error (gfx glitches etc.) , reason, your registry needs the NEW info about your renamed folder, as it may still is searching for things in the old registered folder, just to be on the save site, simply double click my intro and after exit you answer again with "yes" and everything should work fine for now... happy gaming!...

don't worry of the torjen etc etc its bcoz of avg anti virus just follow the simple steps 1 extract all the files in a same folder 2 open and change the name of file etup.bat to setup.bat 3 come back to main folder and run install.bat and wait its done nothing else after that u can play it as per your pc

Dude, please upload the full game without the startup movies, and drop the texture size down abit.. This is WAY too ripped, and the startup movie is pisen (kill mininova filter pls!!! DAMN IT!!!!!! PLZ!!!!) me off..it makes the game constantly minimise. This rip is so bad to the point of being unstable, and no matter how hard I try, i cannot get ANY ingame music. and could you integrate the 1.01 patch too please? Anyway, sorry but this rip is ok if you just wanna drive around and have fun, but without any voices..it just wrecks the game. I hope you will fix these problems, and I know for sure i would wait an extra 4hrs to have the full game.

AVG finds a trojan in trainer.exe and 1eyed.exe ... so far. Comodo Personal Firewall running 66% cpu occupancy. Deleted those 2 files now runs smooth.

hey guys.. ive had other TOED rips, they work great. you can compress a whole lot out of alot of things. un-encoded audio, un-encoded(or poorly encoded) video. I can't get it to work. I have installed it almost 4 times, different ways (Extracting everything (everytime changing setup name), extracting pack 1, using just setup..), when it finishes installing, i double click gta_sa.exe and then appears the mouse with the houglass on its side, but then nothing opens, no error messages, no game... I don't know what to do. Also i noticed 2 things: Everyone talk about a movie or something, about clicking install, etc, but no movie or program, etc appears to me. 2nd: i haven't got the scrolltext thing. Ah and also 1eyed.exe doesn't open, same problem as gta_sa.exe What do i have to do? Does downloading by Utorrent while installing affect? Please answer i need this game.

Oh and to add - YOU, the downloader have total choice here. These are rips. Sometimes they are full games repacked & compressed heavily, sometimes "superfluous" content is removed like movies, extra languages, etc. The beauty of most is they are "unpack & play" which means no lengthy separate install and they are precracked for you meaning no separate messing around with no-cd cracks etc. If you want the "full" game including all the extra "filler" they pad some games out with then grab a proper Group ISO release or something and spare us a few chuckles or sighs at your expense lol

Okay this is wha you do. Create a folder in you dekstop (optional) Find the file you just downloaded. Open it use winrar and extract only PACK 1 what till that finishes. Then open what you just exracted and find etup.bat change that to setup.bat. Nothing else Close any applications that are running like windows media player or any other one. Then go back and double click _install.bat. wait,then a movie comes up now wait till the movie finishes and then click any button. WAIT AT LEAST AN HOUR FOR IT TO FINISH. Then find where you extracted the file in the first place, click gta_sa, and thats it.

Game is now working fine, when i origially installed i was watching a film in the background. I deleted and re-installed whilst at work today and all seems good. Ok I did everything right and when I got to run gta_sa.exe I get a pop up that says gta_sa.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. I tried clicking Debug, yet I still can not run it because evey time this pops ups.

To Brakko Try My Way Delete What you Done 1: Open Up Pack 1 Using winrar 2: Extracted The Folder inside Pack 1 to another Folder. 3: Change etup.bat to setup.bat inside the folder you extracted. 4: Go back and click _install.bat. 5: Then wait for the movie to finish, and install. REMEMBER, NO BACKGROUND WORK. 6:If it didnt work, check your graphics card

OK, So far i've got this, I have extracted all the RAR's, and got the folder..I have went into it, renamed it to ''setup.bat'', and ran that.. It finished, wont start the game.. did the same thing, but ran ''_install.bat''..didn't work. Do i need to rename the folder to ''GTA'' to make it work?

BTW, ALL of the anti-virus's listed above ares Sh!t. I run Trend Micro 2008, and NOD32..I cannot get a Virus. Neither popped up a warning, because they are good.. Avast, AVG, Comodo, ADAware, AND zonealarm are budget, Sh!t house AV's. Gets some decent AV.

Dude, this is a little bit TOO ripped..No voices (or very little..), No footsteps, no music, no radio.. Its like 70% of the sound is gone.. alright, i'm having alot of trouble with this. i've tried to follow all the instructions from the post's, but this is what happens. when i go to rename etup to setup (by right clicking) it doesnt give me the option to rename. so what i did was i right clicked it, and i clicked "extract to the specified folder" and i extracted it to my 2nd folder for the game. i then renamed it to setup, and double clicked it, a block box game up and immediately went away, and then the setup disappeared and turned into 4 folders, "anim" "audio" "data" and "models" in that order. so i have no idea what to do now. HELP PLEASE!

your windows doesnt allows you to edit files?!... you may use a tool to rename files(or folders or whatever) i recommend TotalCommander... once you have this... you rename "etup.bat" to "setup.bat" THEN go back one folder... and double click on "_install.bat" and when intro appears , you can exit this with leftmouse, space or esc, dunno exactly anymore) and then you stay away till its finished... this can take several hours (depending on your pc specs.) i also suggest not to do any background work or anything , like web-surfing, listening to music, and or maybe the crazy idea to watch a movie in the background, dont do that all!... iam outta here... everything has been explained over and over again... just wanna "thank" all you freaks helping the others by explaining how things work and ... like that! thanks alot really appreciate this...!!!

hey guys, i need some help with this please. i downloaded the gta:sa and i mounted the iso image onto daemon tools. the installer came up and i install it (it was quite fast) it finished downloaded, then i copied the crack (from the downloaded file) to the c:program files/rockstar games (move and replace = yes!) i opened the file and nothing came up except black and white flashes, then it stopped!!?? i think there were files missing so i downloaded the msvcr70.dll. i opened gta once more and this time the black and white flashing came up, but then heard the gta tune and rockstar games opening credits came up ! i waited till the end of the credits then it suddenly stopped, i kept trying it but it did the same thing over and over?? its so close to working... help??!!

try another no.cd crack, there are some around not compatible with all OS versions, may you got that one, you'll never know, also make sure the right version of the .exe file and may you update the game then use a new cracked exe ... dunno...

****py RIP, if u wanna do a compressed RIP, u should do things right and test on different pc settings. Lots of ppl including me, have problens on their hardware running to open the game. Tried the unrar process 3 times, and all 3, after its done gta_sa crashes or freezes and the game never runs. Try getting some lessons from skullptura next time willya? This torrent FAILS. If u want to try see if ure gonna be a lucky one and this will work for u, try plaing on the lottery too.

@hounro - What Anti-Virus program are you running? I had Spybot S&D, and Avast Antivirus running while it was installing, and had no problems. If it crashes Windows every time, then try disabling your Anti Virus program temporarily while it does the file-injecting. @jassinlive - I will probably make a ******* video of how to do it soon, so be patient, or refer to question 415 by me on how to install it. And once again, there are NO viruses in this (I'm playing San Andreas: Multiplayer right now =P)

NOTE: This Game Has No Viruses the only virues was in an addon for the game called Trainer. The trainer is a cheat to get all your lvls up it is not needed otherwise the game is fine. NOTE: once i unpacked all the files microsoft tells me thires a problem with the game and needs to close what can i do to fix it ?

damn this is soo annoying lol every other rip ive downloaded works perfectly fine no problems atall ive extracted this 6 times now waited 4 hours each time its extracted and it alwayz comes up with "microsoft send error report..." so were have i gone wrong:S my steps: 1.got the files part01,part02,part03 etc... 2.highlighted them all and extracted using winrar 3. rename etup.bat to setup.bat install 4. around a 3-4 hour wait 5. load up the game and bang its not working help pleaseeeee

this game may not work if your video card doesnt support it. i have a mobile intel 945gm and there are many graphics errors i went to intels website and it told me that gta sa was incompatible you should go to your manufacturers website

hey Toed, will this compressed verison of GTA be compatible with the multiplayer mod? from http://www.sa-mp.com/ If is does work with it, do you need to update the game to install the multiplayer mod? ok, I've had no install problems. I just ran the etup.bat and went to sleep. I left the folders named as they were and put the game in C:\Games\ without any problems. I've modded the hell out of it without problems. I don't mind the missing music and other audio, but I am experiencing a very annoying glitch. All the people throughout the game flicker. They all disappear, reappear, sometimes it'll stay stable for a few mins, others they seem to be gone longer than visible. I've tried multiple settings, turning Frame Limiter On makes it 10 times worse. I seem to get the best results in 1024/768-32 at High Settings. But they still flicker, and they flicker more if the streets are crowded. I played the game for a couple hours before I ever modded anything and it flickered then too, so I know its not the mods. My computer is very capable to run this, my graphic cards drivers are up to date. If anyone else has this problem or knows what to do I'd appreciate it. Thx Toed

My antivirus came up with a "PUP" (Potentially Unwanted Program) at Low Risk level during install, I clicked heal and continued. Since then my pc has run a full scan every day, nothing has come up in the last 2 days. I believe it to be as he said, just overly cautious anti-virus.

Well I tried playing the game today and couldn't. Everytime I tried to fly a plan or drive a car my entire PC would freeze. I tried multiple save games, starting a new game, uninstalling all my mods, still locks up. I can play World of Warcraft at MAX settings without a problem an that game is a serious resource hog. I'm venturing to say the game is messed up.

Ok this is ridiculous!! I've wasted 3 hours trying to install this thing twice now and still the same result, whenever I try to open gta_sa.exe I get an error message straight away. So if anyone could please help me it would be greatly appreciated as I do have a limited useage and just used 600mb of it downloading this thing. So here's what I do: 1) extract part01.rar 2) rename etup.bat to setup.bat 3) run _install.bat 4) the "movie" comes up but never stops playing, keeps repeating itself with nothing happening in the installation window so I click the movie window and it disappears. The installation window asks me to press any key and I do, the installation process begins. 5) the installation finishes and the window closes 6) I double click on gta_sa.exe and I get an error message immediately If anybody is able to help me please do! Thanks a lot it would be much appreciated!

what you can do is , MOVE the comeplete content of your extracted folder to C\gta\ ... it should look like C:\gta\allthefilehere . try that out, if this doesnt works for you, you go to mainpage, type ToeD on the search panel, seeing my list of uploads, then take a look for GTA san andreas Ultimate 2oo8 ... its the complete game with manymanymanymanymanymany addon'n'extras... happy gaming!

TOED! I did all the install etc etc. No problems at all and also NO background work. It was all going fineo and then when it had finished (finally lol) i went onto the game folders and saw "gta-sa.exe" so i click it and it does nothing. IDK WHY! There is no error message or anything. downloaded and installed without any problems, ran first time! have only messed about for a few minutes, rode the bike up and down the street a few times etc...so haven't thoroughly tested it but no problems installing. follow iPunker's instructions in #150 and #151 and you should have no issues! Does it work with Vista? -YES! does it work with an integrated video card? -YES! I've got a T7300 core2duo and it only took around 30mins to extract everything but do give it time, wait until the black command box closes! You'll need 4.66gb space for everything to extract (that is some compression toed!!)... the very first scene has no audio in it, so you can get an idea of how much is going to be ripped - i may try and find some add-ons to fill it back up again

by the way, for those who don't know how a multi-part RAR works, all you need to do is start extracting part01 and it'll extract the whole lot, leaving you with a folder called "PC_GTA.SanAndreas -(rip)-(ToeD)", inside which you'll see folder "GTA.San.Andreas" and file "_install.bat". good gaming!

I am SEEDING this game...well have been for a while, and see no reason why anyone should have trouble with it. I have already seeded 193GB, and at 500Kb/s-1MB/s+ that's not too bad. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After you change etup.bat to setup.bat....and you run the install....there is something that might popup...or not. There is a command window that does popup no matter what else pops up, and it will say something like: C:\this_place\: pause All you have to do is hit enter...and it will start installing.

For those who are still having trouble: 1. Extract "PC_GTA.SanAndreas -(rip)-(ToeD).part01.rar". I used 7-zip (www.7-zip.org) 2. Go into the folder the files have been extracted into 3. Go into the "GTA.San.Andreas" folder 4. Rename "etup.bat" to "setup.bat" 5. Go back to the previous folder 6. Run "_install.bat". Wait until it is done 7. Put the newly extracted files in your "Program Files" 8. Rename the folder they are in to "GTA" 9. Run "gta_sa.exe"

what's up with the game play being distorted with this speedy burst of fastness everywhere. I mean it just goes into overdrive sometime time and everything is like stuck on fast forward.? And it distorts missions and sometimes causes a long pause that may be a freeze..and results in restarting the computer.

Please note this DOES have a trojan in the file OneEye.Exe (Or is it 1eye.exe) DO NOT USE _INSTALL.BAT!!!! Rename etup to setup and use that and make sure to delete _setup.bat, 1eye.exe and theirs another file with 1eye... its a test file I believe. Just delete anything that says 1eye and thats about it. I have the game working and I am currently looking for the files to fill in the gaps of the rip ^_^ Anyway Happy Playing

alrighty, before anyone starts 2 have there little ***** at me for being new 2 this ****, its not all that diffictult. i extracted al the rars and renamed the file then opend the setup. everything decompressed as planned that worked fine. then i go and open the exe and i get a not responding error.

for all those fU..kn dumbsh...ts find the that actually ends with rar. not r00 or any sh .. it like that . then extract the folder in the rar and only that rar to your desktop. Use the latest winrar. Then close any open programs even the internet then when extracted rename etup.bat to setup.bat. Ok then click the newly renamed setup.bat and follow intructions. Find a new crack for san andreas on gamecopyworld.com and replace it if your sh ... it scared of viruses. And if the downloads to slow use utorrent, and PEOPLE SEED

After about 3 attempts to get this thing to work i gave up but then i read post #95 by FefuFx and changed my file names to GTA and now it works fine. Thanks Toad for the upload and thanks FefuFx for getting it running!!

I was about 40% into this download (took all day) and then my computer got really slow and sloppy so i retarsted it and when it started back up it said i had a virus and about 150 infected files and i have only just been able to get the internet to work and i want to know if it was this download that did it cuz i really want this game. It now works past the graffiti cutscene but now it glitches when you are learning how to use your gun. I think its a problem with my comp. I'll see if I can get past this part. Btw just wondering, can u use the multiplayer with this?

Been playing this for a few days now and it's been working alright, the only problem with it (for me that is) is that it has a 33.333333333% chance of freezing when i either go to the main menu (Esc it) or just go back to windows. Apart from this problem its pretty darn good for 600mb but I'm now downloading the full version because I just can't stand driving without the radio!!!

Wow cant believe theres so many problems. I actually BOUGHT the game, installed it from CD. And it worked great.. I only got a laptop with AMD Turion 64 x2(2.0ghz processor, 3gb RAM, NVIDIA 7150M) I could run minimum settings at full, or medium high resolution at low settings and have max FPS.

no virus no bull**** perfect installation and perfect working condition. thanks uploader BUT YOU SHOULD HAVE MENTIONED THIS TINY DETAIL: This game cannot be finished. it comes inbuilt with the hot coffee mod. and because of this, the 'Key to her heart" mission in las venturas is not finishable due to an extra impossible-to-pass minigame added due to the hot coffee mod. If you people want to finish the game, download the original script files main.scm and script.img from here http://www.gta-downloads.com/database.php?act=file&id=6708 and replace the ones after installing this game. if you save a game in the current state, that savefile will always have this bug and you wont be able to finish it. so BEFORE you start playing the game make sure you do this. @inia001 The "cutscene" audio's ripped (Its already mentioned) but you can always turn on the subtitles. If u really need it you will have to get another copy mate :-) But you are getting the in-game sounds rite?? @treisel "music came on and wordz came across a black space skreen saying sanandreas r.i.p..." Thats the initial extraction process...it will gone on for 10-20mins and will ask to "press any key". Now the real extraction will start...about 1-1½ hrs....the extracted size's about 4.5GB so you can guess the level of compression :-)
