Tyler is going to learn with the help of his uncle, Mason, who comes to town in the very first episode. He found out who he is, and how to live with it. He learns about the curse, who he was and how he reacts to it. So for him it would be fun journey ... with a lot of violence.

Helen Gilbert and Katherine (Nina Dobrev). Helen is nice girl with a good heart, pure soul, but strong and courageous, in general, I would say it's too good, I'll hope that the future will manifest other facets of her character. Nina coped well with the role played by the truth she was not a fatal beauty, but rather sweet girl (as opposed to book). Dobrev reflected all the experiences of Helen, deceit (Katherine), throwing between brothers, and the manipulation of them (Katherine), and many of the characters of the girls.
