Most recently, the star of Supernatural, actor Jensen Ackles has married with his longtime lover, actress Deniil Harris. However, things might be different if a simple Texas boy 13 years ago from the set of his hobbies didn't selected what was the meaning of his life - cinema and television.
Every year, Jensen Ackles is becoming more popular. Turn came to New Zealand, where on television screens are just the fourth season of Supernatural. And we are waiting for a six season of Supernatural brothers.
Supernatural Star Jensen Ackles and television series "One Tree Hill" actress Deniil Harris have married last month. But if 13 years ago he would not accept quick decision, he could never meet his sweetheart.
Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, 32-year-old Ackles was obsessed with everything to do with sports, including baseball, basketball, football and lacrosse. But after his baseball team failed in the playoffs in his last academic year, Jensen has focused on the theater.
"My drama teacher asked me to play in the annual performance. I thought: this is my last year, I worked for three years on baseball. I went to my coach, thought he was swept away my head. Surprisingly, he said: "Good. Graduation class happens only once".
He planned to enter Texas Tech University to study sports medicine, but decided to try his luck in Hollywood.
More than ten years in the Major League, Jensen plays Dean Winchester in the second cult hit on television with his friend Jared Padalecki, which is acting as his brother Sam.
"Supernatural"- a story about two brothers who travel the roads of America at their Chevy Impale-1967 fighting with an unusual evil, including Lucifer.
In New Zealand, is the fourth season running in the midst of. But they are still waiting for a lot of interesting things. A month ago, Warner Bros. reported shooting the sixth season, which begins with the fact that Dean is trying to get rid of the hunt for the supernatural.
Despite the fame had fallen, Jensen does not forget his southern roots. He loves golf, riding and country music.
"This morning I asked my driver to turn on to country music station. I'm from Texas. It's in my blood".
Attractive actor performs himself all the stunts in the series, he prefers action to drama. When the series ended, he claims that he want to concentrate on action movie.
"I can walk in bruises, cuts and abrasions, but it's better than being emotionally squeezed. I'm not playing someone who knows martial arts, or passed special training. It's just a kicker-guy from the bar. When he can't beat, he picks up his gun".
Jensen has come a long way from roles in "Seventh heaven", "Sweet Valley High", which were followed by three years in the role of Eric Brady on the series "Days of Our Lives".
He also played in "Dark Angel" in the company of Jessica Alba, and "Smollville" in the role of Jason Tiga.
He has met his future wife while filming "Ten Inch hero" in 2007. In the past year, he played Tom Hanniger in the remake of horror film "My Bloody Valentine.
Now he is torn between California and Vancouver, where they continue shooting "Supernatural."
"I have no great expectations. I decided that I will work as long as I can, have fun for a long time as I can. This is a heavy industry. To survive, you need to build up the skin, and not to take criticism in a personal account. Just do the bests what you can".
They were not familiar, but thanks to TV series "Supernatural" Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles have become not only colleagues, but also best friends. Those Texas guys, like Winchester, share everything, except holidays and girlfriends, for two. Journal STARS talked with TV-brothers and asked them to answer a few questions about their characters, in order we would be able finally to decide whom of them we love more! So, here is interview.
Cool or a good-soul guy?
Jared: Due to the fact that in "Supernatural" Dean - is macho and Sam is calmer, people often think that I have a softer character.
Jensen: And they do not make mistakes.
Jared: Okay, I admit, I can be very good man.
Jensen: Have you not had cried over a book?
Jared: Yeah, but at least I have the courage to admit it. And you still believe in this old tales "real men do not cry".
Jensen: In the old-fashioned values, there is nothing wrong with that.
Jared: Do you know how he is? He does not worry about trifles. I once watched in admiration as after he had just been scolded a producer, he simply said: "Have you finished? Let's drink beer. I have to think about and digest everything that you've said".
Jensen: But, on the other hand, you're also a little like me. You are discreet and relaxed, and do not like to get involved in fights. You like to be alone and you are not weenie.
Friends or brothers?
Jensen: It's almost impossible to explain. Due to filming the show nine months of the year we have to spend together. And even during the breaks to do something just for yourself is impossible. We are always together. But if you want to compare our relationship and the relationship of Sam and Dean, it is a big difference. Jared never drives me crazy.
Jensen: We are best friends, so there is nothing outstanding.
Optimist or pessimist?
Jensen: I'm a big optimist and usually try to see the good in people. I'm open-minded, but I'm not an extrovert. I've been known as a hard-working and practical person, who does not love additional sweats. I prefer to stay away from the paparazzi and red carpets of Hollywood tracks, focusing instead on my career.
Jared: I'm the same as Jensen said. I have nothing to add! And I am no less optimistic than the two Winchester brothers together.
Jensen: Dude, this is probably all too.
Loving preen or indifferent to the appearance?
Jared: You first!
Jensen: Many thanks, bro! Once I was a model, and I was taught to care about how I look. No, rather, never forget how I look! I love good clothes and, yes, I bring hair in order, before leaving the house. But that's all. I'm not the man who will go to beauty salons.
Jared: Regarding clothes, so I am not choosy here. Really. I wear what I like and usually those things that come across my eyes when I browse my room in the morning. Like today, for example. I put on my hat because my hair is not the best today, and I did not put anything special. However, I try to care on my body. My biggest fear - is to become thick.
Jensen: One day he had to act in the scene where he digs a grave without a shirt. I laughed so hard. He whined for weeks about this and not come out of the gym. However, when we started filming the scene, his trousers have torn. But the most remarkable fact that at that moment the camera was directly behind him! I couldn't stop my hysteria. Especially when he said: "Damn, did I only train for a long time tear my trousers?"
Jared: I want to tell some story about you too, in order to shame you, but I cannot remember anything.
Jensen: Because there are no such stories.
Superstitious or not?
Jensen: I would not call myself superstitious, but I think that between heaven and earth, there is something more than the eye can see. I am open to the perception of the supernatural, although so far I have not had to take the salt and drive away evil spirits from the threshold.
Jared: I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason. This may sound melodramatic, but I do not believe in coincidence. And I believe that we are not only living beings in this universe.
Nerd or heartbreaker?
Jensen: Nerd! Funny word!
Jared: Also nerd! While earlier people were saying that I look like Matt Damon, and now like a Brad Pitt.
Jensen: Yeah, dreaming!
Jared: Hard question. Well, who would speak about himself that he is a nerd or heartbreaker? If this happens, we must urgently carry urine for the doctor analysis!
Jensen: Of course, we noticed that we have a large group of fans. We are very pleased, but we do not stuff our heads with this. Just as we do not wonder, who among us is more popular. "Supernatural" has become so popular primarily because of its plot. However, this does not negate the fact that Jared uglier me and completely not know how to play. But what can he do about it?
Jared: When he starts to let such comments, I usually say: "Can I take you for a minute?"
Jensen: And if we say seriously, then, of course, we understand that "Supernatural" shows around the world. And it would be strange if we did not like at least one woman among all those spectators. But we do not have time to worry about it. We have been working for months to fifteen hours a day. And in the remaining couple of hours we don't care about what's going on with our popularity.
Jared: Work on 15 hours a day, by the way, it's more for nerds!
Careers in movies or on television?
Jared: Each of them has advantages and disadvantages, to combine them - a great luxury. If you acted in television series, you have a guaranteed permanent job at the same place. And besides, I see as an additional luxury of working with my best friend. We both agree that "Supernatural" in the first place, but after the capture will end, we will think about filming in some full screen movie. For example, earlier this year came "My Bloody Valentine" with Jensen and "Friday the 13th" with me.
Jensen: These movies fit into our working schedule, and work on them was incredibly interesting. And coming soon "Resident Evil: Afterlife", where I'll play a major role. We do not envy each other about such projects. Even if we often call each other to tell how it's relaxed and luxurious actually on the "Supernatural" stand. And, yes, sometimes we are also talking to each other that maybe we are lucky again to work together.
Jared: In other words, you will soon again be able to order a duet of me and Jensen!
The CW TV Channel in February this year formally announced the extension of the series Supernatural on the sixth season. Later it became known that in the new season at the helm of the series instead of Eric Kripke will be executive producer a talented writer Sera Gamble. As it turned out, it's not the only changes that are waiting for serial.
"Supernatural" is one of the most popular sci-fi series on television, have long been criticized for a certain level of misogyny in the way that were presented female characters. Recent events seem to be aimed at correcting this situation: the channel hired Joss Whedon as an executive producer.
Whedon, who created a certain style on television, from Roseanne, finishing with Toy Story, definitely invited to the film crew to create strong female characters for the series. "Supernatural" is often criticized for the fact that he has almost the entire male cast.
Besides, Joss has worked perfectly over the "Dollhouse" and we would like to bring part of the magic in "Supernatural". We think that having freedom of action, he perfectly will affect the storyline of "Supernatural". We recognize that "Supernatural" shows women are not very good, and as we killed all the female characters that are little liked to fans, we need some new ones. Joss is great at creating strong female characters. We look forward to seeing what he thinks up for the sixth season of "Supernatural" - said producers.
Joss Whedon helped to engage in the film crew Eliza Dushku as the sister of Sam and Dean - Ashley Winchester. Moreover, Sam will only appear in six episodes, plus shots of the "phone speach".
"We do not think that it will be very bored, because Eliza is an excellent mix with Dean. We believe that fans will appreciate the appearance of Eliza. We use a filter CGI, to soften it a bit and add a few strokes, so that she has attracted more men. Eliza is a great actress, but she suffered from a shortage of male attention. In addition, since we have two brutal men on the show, we believe that, as a contrast, Ashley should be softer and more feminine. This is - a new type of role for Eliza, and she is very glad to show her feminine nature"- tells Eric Kripke.
Also we have gotten exclusive information - some details about some episodes of the next season. Genevieve Cortese will return to series as Ruby. While, the frequency of her appearance in the series is not reported. Dean gets his wings. According to the source, the creative team strives to find new ideas for more drama. How would he able to drive a car? Can he fly? What will be the reaction of Kastiel? What will feel Sam?
Mary and John will be appearing periodically, but only Dean will be able to see them. They will provide some pressure on Dean to give advice. There will be a very interesting moment in the third episode, when John from the back seat of Impala will read a lecture for Dean on how to ride right way.
And finally, our source said that Sera Gamble, which will replace Eric Kripke promises to show Sam naked and crying as more times as she could!
