"My name is Earl" - is not just a funny comedy series about the life of former inveterate bully Earl Hickey and his not a gifted mind brother. After a long list of crimes, Earl must, sooner or later, would get to the jail for a very long time. Well, a scoundrel was punished, but quite differently way: he was stroked down by a car. But every cloud has a silver lining. After recovery, Earl became another person. Besides, he has won a cash prize of one hundred thousand dollars! Now with the help of this money Earl Hickey was supposed to fix his karma. Former villain has written an impressive list of all his bad deeds in order to change their destiny and be cleansed from the dark past.
"My name is Earl" plot is rather simple. There are 200-odd people in the list. And Earl needs to ask all of them to forgive him. Then the wind brings him ticket for 100,000 dollars, Earl and his ex-wife this money are desperately needed.
And sometimes you start to really worry about Earl. In "20-minute" TV series such feelings to the characters are rather rare.
This series doesn't look like other series. This is probably a very great movie - on so many great creators have turned out to recreate the atmosphere of a great American suburb. Striking approach to the creators of the slightest detail - the actors are not up to the significant roles and images of the same, the events accurately placed in chronological order.
The movie is full of excellent soundtrack. All the hits are collected in a series - here and Steppenwolf, Gans n Roses, Van Halen, Barrett Strong, and so on. Humor in the series that is another story - from one kind of Earl grimace we want to laugh!
As I wrote at the beginning "My name is Earl" - this is not a mere frivolous comedy about gay life of the village inhabitants. It is also a cautionary tale about the ex-offender who decided to get back on track, to atone for his guilt good deeds. And under these hidden heaps of humor series, it can be learned a lot of useful notes.
It should be mentioned a good play of the main actors in the show (Jason Lee, Ethan Suplee, Jaime Presley, Eddie Steeples). Each character is very charismatic, and unique. And together they create a very lively and not boring atmosphere of the movie. And from the first series pretty quickly get used to their image and manners. Tasks in the Earl list are also shining diversity. Therefore, each series looks equally interesting and easy, without any fuss.
After watching of all 4 seasons I had the desire to watch the series again and... I did it...
Conclusion - this is one of the best TV series ever came out!
