On passing in Las Vegas convention CinemaCon studio Disney has confirmed rumors about the upcoming sequel to last year's hit "Muppets", but company Pixar has announced information about the three upcoming animated projects, including a film about Lee Ankrich spooky fun holiday in Latin America.

"Muppets" has earned a worldwide box office of over 158 million dollars with a budget of 45 million. Unfortunately, Jason Segel from employment will not be able to take part in the sequel, but it will be removed by James Bobin, who worked on the first film. He's on a par with Nicholas Stoller will write the script.

Last summer, Pixar said about the two films that are afoot in the bowels of the famous studio. Both projects had no name. One of them - the story of Peter Docter, which develops in the mind of a girl, and the second - cartoon about people who live among the dinosaurs. This week, some details of these films became known.

The project director of "Monsters, Inc." and "Up" is called an incredibly ambitious. Its release is scheduled for June 19, 2015, whereas previously it was thought that the premiere will be held in 2013 or 2014. Worked on the script, Michael Arndt, received the "Oscar" for "Toy Story 3." The painting trip to suit the audience an incredible worlds - from the ocean depths to the highest mountains in South America, from the fictional town of Monstropolis to futuristic space. "The new film by Pete Docter will take you to the familiar world. Known to many, but nobody has ever seen. It's a world inside the human mind"- said in a news release.

The second picture is called "Good Dinosaur". It will be shot by Bob Peterson, who worked with Pete Docter on the film "Up" and wrote screenplays for "Finding Nemo" and "Ratatouille." "Good dinosaur" will show an alternative history of our planet. What would happen if an asteroid that destroyed the dinosaurs did not fly to the Earth? They do not die and still live together with people. The film promises to be very funny and sincere. The release is scheduled on May 20, 2014-th.

And finally, the third draft of Pixar, which, as the film of Docter, until he has no name, will be filmed under the direction of the director "Toy Story 3" Lee Ankrich. It will be a completely original cartoon, the effect of which will be developed during the celebration of the dead. Recall that it is a holiday dedicated to the memory of the dead and passes each year 1 and 2 November in Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. These days, arranged a bright carnival, where you can see a lot of skeletons are prepared in the form of candy skulls, and the cemetery is decorated with ribbons and flowers. Despite the gloomy title, Day of the Dead, in fact, is a celebration of life. Release date of this project has not been announced.

Studio has acquired a scenario application Andy Berg titled "Huck". It is based on the heroes of adventure novels by Mark Twain, but in light of the Hollywood fashion trends of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn will be shown on the other side.

The plot of the history of Berg kept a secret, but it is known that "Huck" - conversion of adventure in the spirit of Twain's characters, "Snow White and the Hunter," and Sawyer and Finn - have grown up people. It also has a place in the script mysticism.

In "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer," published in 1876, the action develops in a small town in the American South before the Civil War. Tom Sawyer - energetic, witty and enterprising boy of twelve. In the first novel he has time to witness the murder and expose the murderer, engaged to a girl, a classmate, to run away from home and live on a desert island, to attend his own funeral, get lost in a cave and get out safely, and to find a precious treasure.

Sawyer became the hero of three novels of Mark Twain, and also appears in the pages of the book "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn." In it Finn, along with runaway slave Jim on a raft fused to the Mississippi River. Some time later they are joined by the Duke and the King of rogues, who eventually sell Jim to slavery. Huck joined Tom Sawyer organized the release of the prisoner.

Tom and Huck have repeatedly been the heroes of the film adaptations. The first appeared in 1907, followed by screening in 1917, but both were silent. The first sound picture of Twain published in 1930, has collected 11 million dollars and was highly regarded by critics until the film came out in 1938, which was shot in color and under the guidance of producer David O. Selznick, and that is a long hedge of the filmmakers attempt to film "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer ".

Note that the classic version of Twain's books Hollywood didn’t forget. Next year will be released film "Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn," where Tom played by Joel Courtney from the movie "Super 8", and Huck and Becky Thatcher - Jake T. Austin and Catherine McNamara of the melodrama "Old New Year".

While Americans simply can’t run the new version of the adventures of Captain Nemo in theaters, British had hurried up and found $ 10 million on their own project "The Return of Captain Nemo." The project has joined Hugh Bonneville, David Morrissey and star of "The First Avenger" Hayley Atwell.

In November 2009, Disney stopped project of McGee "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Captain Nemo." The film was among the priority projects, while the studio was headed by Dick Cook, but with his departure, much has changed. Then in the spring of 2010, the project surfaced again as the ship "Nautilus", but with David Fincher at the helm. Fincher has promised his support to James Cameron, but to date project status is unknown.

Meanwhile, producer Amy Krell said about the launch of production of the film "The Return of Captain Nemo," with Hugh Bonneville in the title role. Krell has found funding from American, Asian and British investors, and from January 14, director Theo Pirrie begins shooting, which will take place in Romania.

Shooting of "The Return of Captain Nemo" will be in the pavilion on the green screen as a movie "300" and "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow." "If we worked in the U.S., it would have to double the budget", - says producer.
Hugh Bonneville, who won the role of Captain Nemo, now enjoys great popularity in Europe due to the TV series "Downton Abbey." The actor starred in "Notting Hill" and "Mansfield Park", as well as in the series' to animated book of Jane Austen.

David Morrissey is well known in the UK TV series "Red Riding". He will play the chief advisor of President Ulysses S. Grant, liberating Nemo from prison that he discovered the mysterious sea creatures that drowned ships near the Atlantic coast.

Hayley Atwell is known to viewers thanks to Woody Allen's drama "Cassandra's Dream" and the role of the beloved Captain America in "The First Avenger." The actress recently auditioned in "Horizons" by Joseph Kosinski, but it seems to no avail, once consented "The Return of Captain Nemo." Here she plays Sarah, the daughter of David Morrissey's character.

Adventure thriller "The Musketeers" of Paul W. S. Anderson has started in the U.S. last week, having collected only 8.8 million dollars at the moment. Film star Milla Jovovich in her Twitter has accused studio Summit in lack of advertising. The studio has answered.

On the way to Tokyo, where the "Musketeers" opens film festival, the actress wrote: "Today, in the U.S. will start "The Musketeers"! Do you think the audience knows about the film? Ask your friends! Do they know that this is a family movie?" Milla continued: “Does Summit generally advertise the film as an adventure and family? Or do they repose on their laurels after the "Twilight" and do not put any effort? Tell me!”

At this Milla has not stopped. "I think, Summit is trying to merge the beautiful rolling adventure family film "The Musketeers" in the U.S. SHAME, SUMMIT”. Then followed the next tweet: "The Musketeers"-entertaining movie for the whole family, nothing to do with "Resident Evil". People do not even know that they can take children with them at the cinemas".

The whole Friday evening Hollywood noised about words of Milla, well, Saturday morning studio Summit replied to Jovovich via the website Deadline.

"As far as we know, the actress was in Canada, where removed in the next part of "Resident Evil", working 15 hours a day and will likely not see an ad campaign of "Musketeers" in the U.S. She has no idea what she is talking about and we are not entirely clear what’s going on with her".

Representatives of the studio are a little upset with behavior of the star: "Oh she would call and say what she thinks."

"The Musketeers" earned a worldwide box office total of just over 73 million dollars. The budget belt is about 90 million. Critics have branded the film and an American audience is also not interested in adaptation of Dumas' books.

Disney will attract viewers with old cartoons in 3D

With the successful launch of the "Lion King" in 3D Studio Disney announced about coming release of its other classic cartoon with three-dimensional images. "Beauty and the Beast," "Finding Nemo," "Monsters Inc." and "The Little Mermaid" will receive a new life on the big screen.

"The Lion King" in 3D has earned in the U.S. box office for 80 million dollars. The reason for this success is called artful studio practice to limit DVD-releases of its films. "The Lion King" for some time now is not available on digital media, so parents were happy to take their children to the cinema on classic cartoon. In addition, in September U.S. release was short of pictures for family viewing than Disney and benefited.

The absence in January release of the new family film, prompting the studio to plan edition of "Beauty and the Beast" in 3D for January 13, 2012. “Finding Nemo” will begin in September 14, 2012-th, while “Monsters” will scare kids in January 18, 2013 on the eve of the premiere summer sequel. Finally, “The Little Mermaid 3D" will be in U.S. cinemas in September 13, 2013.

Conversion of "Beauty and the Beast" in 3D-format has already been completed. Originally scheduled for release before the cartoon "King Lion", but limited to a two-week show at the Hollywood cinema "El Capitan" followed by a wide release in January 2012.

Typically, the process of converting an ordinary film into 3D format takes five to eight weeks - this is depending on the length and complexity of the film. Given that the film "Beauty and the Beast" is ready, the studio can work quietly on "Finding Nemo."

In the future, the viewer expects an influx of old movies in the new format. In April we will be able to see "Titanic" of James Cameron, spending much more time to convert than other companies.

But before Cameron, his new version of the old movie will show George Lucas. What will be the first episode of "Star Wars", an American viewer will learn in February 2012. If these films do good box office in a few months of new releases will have to push in a rolling schedule with proven hits in 3D.

Historical start

On July 13 2011 has been held the world premiere of the last part of the most successful franchise in film history - "Harry Potter". An unpretentious story of an orphan, a magician that caring adults are ready to put on the altar for the fight against absolute evil, already has a value for the cinema no less than, say, "Star Wars". And the actors have grown up before our eyes, already entered the history of cinema on par with Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher.

Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson at all possible claims for their talents will take a worthy place in the Hall of Fame of world cinema, not only because they have served for many years for their heroes, but also because they had to participate in a unique experiment for the cinema. After all, the whole world watched, as if in some reality show for their maturation, transformation and growth of skills.
And most likely, their subsequent fate turned to acting better than the already mentioned Mark Hamill, who, incidentally, was by the time the "New Hope" is not much older and not much more experienced than the present actors from Harry Potter.

So, almost 10 years and 6.4 billion dollars worldwide box office receipts. General revenues as a franchise, for example, from sales of related products and all kinds of licenses from the operation of theme parks and so on to calculate and does not seem possible. Ahead of the latest movie, which is expected to break all records, not only to astronomical sum reaching $ 2.7 billion, which eventually earned "Avatar".

Judge for yourself. Two days before the premiere in North America, the film "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" has collected $ 25 million. The vast majority of tickets that get the audience to support popular Internet networks - a ticket to the final "Harry Potter". The film will be shown in 4300 theaters, most of which are on several screens. More than three thousand copies will be stereoscopic. Such a wide release is not honored at this year none of the films.

The creators hope the picture will overcome not only the achievement of "Half-Blood Prince" earned in its opening weekend in worldwide box office record-breaking 394 million dollars, but before premiere fees of the sequel "Twilight." There is more audacious hope of contrition already apparent immutable record "Dark Knight" managed to earn by the end of first weekend in North America, a fantastic 158 million dollars.

Well, that last part of the famous franchise will be able to earn more than a billion, right now, no one doubts. The only question is, what place on the short list of billionaires will be able to take the film.

The last word, of course, is for the audience. But, as mentioned above, regardless of the success of the last series, "Harry Potter" - is history. Exciting, colorful, dramatic, epic. As with the entire history of cinema. Thank you all!

Interview with Matthew Lewis

Matthew Lewis for the past ten years has been represented on-screen image of Neville Longbottom in the saga "Harry Potter". Now that before the series premiere of the final "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" only a matter of days, actor is ready to say goodbye to the clumsy student in the Faculty of Gryffindor, who improbably became a true hero. Here is an interview with Matthew.

- Have you been a fan of Neville Longbottom from the beginning?
"By the time I was invited to the role of Neville, I've already read the first four books, so I knew who Longbottom is, but I had no clue about who he will become in the end. JK Rowling sometimes throwing some hints, but she never said anything to me directly because I knew exactly how I'm a big fan of her books. In general, the fact that Neville has become such a brave guy is really cool. "

- Are you ready to say goodbye to "Harry Potter"?
"I was very fortunate to be a part of franchise for so many years. I feel honored. Each year, returning to the set, I felt that stealing a slice of time. I so enjoyed it all. When we came to an end, I do not grieve - I proud of us all, and burned with impatience see what we have. "

- Will you miss for your close friends: Dan, Emma and Rupert.
"Friendship has always been one of the main reasons contributing to ensure that I got to shoot from year to year. As in the film, and real-life rapport was very strong. I starred in two films in addition to "Harry Potter" and it was very strange to be in the company of strangers. I'll miss the guys, but we still live in England, and England is not so great, so I hope we will meet. Yet I will miss them as partners. Maybe someday I will meet with anyone of them in one place. "

- Do you remember the first casting?
"It was held at the Queens Hotel in Leeds, in the city where I live. Since I was a huge fan of the book, I begged my mother to take me to casting. We stood in line for five hours - a number I pulled in the lottery. I remember it - 463. We just stood and waited, and when at last we entered, I was asked to read an excerpt from the book in which Harry talks about the egg dragon. In general, I have read and gone, that's all. Two months passed before they called me and asked me if I wanted to meet with director Chris Columbus, and then everything started to happen at breakneck speed. I can not explain how I felt, I remember, it was delicious. "

- Have you taken some souvenir from the set?
"I’ve hidden away little false teeth of small Neville. My parents made a kind of temple on the shelf in the corner. There are relics, pictures of movies of all years, and teeth are also located there. They were my bane for a couple of years, but I'm glad that I have them. It's a kind of reward".

- As far as we know you lead a modest lifestyle
"I live in Leeds, about 200 miles north of London. On the shoot I went to London and after returned home and hung down with friends, went with them to football and in pubs. I began recognizable by paparazzi, but they don’t bother me. I walk into a store and buy bread and milk, and no one bothers me. I feel so lucky in my work and in life! "

- What is your favorite character (except Neville, of course)?
"I've always liked Professor Lupin. I remember reading "The Prisoner of Azkaban" was filled with great sympathy for him. And I still like Sirius Black, because Gary Oldman managed to create a special aura around him".

- What is your favorite memory about Harry Potter?
"It was the first lesson in riding on broomsticks, that Madame Hooch spent, and Neville sat on his broom and destroy everything around him. It was my first day of filming, and I was very excited, and then, when I was told that the whole scene will be constructed around me and my flight on a broomstick with a stunt to catch it, and I completely panicked. I was eleven years old, all seemed unreal. "

- Will you come back if there will be filmed the next episode of the movie?
"Certainly, I would be delighted if there will be new books and read them with pleasure. As for the film, I have been shooting there for eleven years now and would be happy for a new role. I am ready to say goodbye to Neville and find out what else I can do. But if the next story by JK Rowling will be brilliant, and I would be invited, then, yes, I am happy to agree. But I think our story is over. And I am very pleased with how it happened. "

The end of the big story about Harry Potter

1 Star2 Stars3 Stars4 Stars5 Stars (No Ratings Yet)

Long ago, exactly 10 years ago, muggles of the world first saw the screen incarnation of "boy who survived." It was a risky venture, since by that time only three Harry Potter books were published, and, despite their popularity, it was unknown what will be the end of the whole story. And now it has over once and forever. David Yates, who was widely considered almost the worst of directors of "Harry Potter", suddenly shot a powerful film, exactly that film, which has met all the expectations of the muggle all over the world.

As you know, Warner Bros. planned to release the first part in 3D, but inconsistency in the actions of business units led to the fact that to ensure adequate quality stereoscopic projection for the remaining time before the premiere, it was not possible. Naturally, it was already on the conversion of footage, because the shooting took place in the traditional way.

Released in November 2010, the picture, despite some of the viscosity of the plot, fully met the expectations. From the outset it was clear it will relinquish only "Philosopher's stone" in box office, which eventually happened. In theory, this would convince the Warner Bros. that the great interest of the audience for the final "Harry Potter" does not need any makeup in the form of stereoscopic video. But it is not convinced.

David Yates has done the impossible. It seems that he considered all claim to his first experiments with "potteriana" and created dark, dynamic and full of real drama, focusing in particular characters movie.

All actors play wonderful! Especially Alan Rickman! The scenes with his participation have always been a decoration of the series, but in the case of "Deathly gifts", he literally "stole" the whole movie. The episode, in which Severus with absolutely lifeless face, which nevertheless reflected an incredible storm of feelings, enters into the wrecked apartment of Potter, sneaks up to the coccyx. And believe me, this author does not belong to particularly sensitive moviegoers.

Certainly good and himself Daniel Radcliffe, who was able to manifest his potential inherent like dramatic actor. There were feelings that at some early draft script writers have underestimated the possibility of an actor and put his talent in too narrow limits. Diligently to cope with their images and Rupert Grint with Emma Watson, though not implemented in the final of all the possibilities, but give the audience, without a doubt the most passionate kiss of the whole saga.

And the conclusion follows. For all conceivable claims, the final "Harry Potter" has turned out. Moreover, in my opinion, this is the best part of the saga, which easily will earn a billion to the whole Harry Potter episodes.

Unfortunately, the movie was over. But, honestly, did any of us Muggles would mind if a few years later, JK Rowling will suddenly announce that the story of the "boy who survived" not yet completed?

Interview with James Phelps

James Phelps, who plays one of the twin brothers Ron Weasley Fred's in an interview said that the final part of the franchise, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" "will boggle the minds of fans"!

About the last episode of "Harry Potter".

"It's very cool! In fact, cool. I was not entirely confident that will be honest, but it boggled my mind."

About the death scene of his character.

"It was surreal. I felt that my best friend has died. Battle at Hogvarse is more like a scene from "Saving Private Ryan" than a scene from "Harry Potter" and it's great, because each of us wanted to shoot in action movie, and this, in fact, was the gunman. But I personally, just lay there and pretended to be dead. I think for the rest of the guys in this episode was shot a lot harder than me. Rupert (Grint) and Oliver (Phelps) really outdid themselves in this scene. I hope the viewers like what happened. "

About how his real twin brother, Oliver suffered a dramatic scene.

"I think it was a very busy day for everyone when we were shooting a scene of death of Fred. We generally got five takes, and then emotionally exhausted Oliver. It was very difficult from time to time to imagine that everything happens for real, and your brother dies. "

About how the brothers discuss the film together.

"It's cool. You come home and told your family about what happened during the day. But even cooler to share your experiences with family members on equal terms. We can discuss everything with each other to infinity."

Gemini borrowed their screen pranks for everyday life.

"We, however, repeatedly staged rallies on the set, and then built out of a simpleton, and said: "We are not blame, it's Fred and George".

He managed to grab a souvenir.

"I always wanted to pick up after the shooting my wand, but I couldn’t do that because it is needed for any exhibitions, etc. It would be nice if one day it was mine forever. On the other hand, I had to steal some coins from Gringotts Wizarding Bank. And I should note that the coins to be extremely plausible. "

About fan basis of Fred and George.

"It's cool. I did not realize its significance until we made it and not revealed to the fans. The reaction of fans has been amazing: many said they had received great satisfaction from how we got to its execution."

About his favorite character in "Harry Potter".

"I think it's Woland de Mort, honestly. He is not like the other villains. Usually, though sometimes the villains repent, but Voldemort has never indicated that he regretted what he done. He's incredibly tricky in this sense. Those who read the book, remember it will all end, but, nevertheless, when you watch a movie, all the time to ask: "How to confront this guy, dammit."

Remembering the first day of filming.

"I remember everything very clearly. We were in a small village in Yorkshire, literally in the heart of the province, and shot the last scene of "Philosopher's Stone" in which Harry gets on the train. This was the first scene we shot, and I remember that I was too nervous".

About how the film came to an end.

"We always thought that we would not know what to do when that day comes, until it began the final promotional tour. Now that day has come indeed. I think the premiere in London will be very emotional."
