Creators of Facebook want some changes in Fincher project

"Social Network" by David Fincher is one of the most anticipated projects of the year. The film, based on Ben Mezrich book about the establishment of the famous Facebook, was shown to the heads of Facebook Company and they are unsatisfied with it and demanded some changes.
In a conversation with "The New York Times" producer Scott Rudin noted that in the script still made some changes at the request of the Facebook owners. But do not take it as Rudin and Fincher danced together on sponsors' money and filmed two-hour advertisement.
"We've just filmed that movie, that were going", - says the producer.
Fincher movie shows some rather striking partying with the Facebook authors, but we don't know how truthful they are shown. In particular, Rudin is not yet sure what is the final scene where the founder of Napster, Sean Parker talks with other characters, sniffing cocaine with girl's naked breast.
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, whose social network hero is Jesse Eisenberg, had already seen Fincher picture. According to him, the film as well as the book - are no more than a fantasy.
Interestingly, that Ben Mezricha book "Accidental Millionaires" by itself found to be incorrect. After his book about MIT students "Bringing Down the House" became a film "Twenty-One", publisher has paid Mezrich nearly $2 million in advance for his book about Facebook. But to write the truth about such a large company was not so easy.
In the spring of last year, when the book went on sale, appeared and the first reaction from a knowledgeable person. One of the journalists said that the head of Sun Microsystems' Scott McNealy in 2004 has had no boat, and, therefore, described part on that boat in the Mezrich book is a lie. "Accidental Millionaires" was carefully analyzed. It turned out that the events described there often do not conform to reality.
Will the Fincher film in the midst of another scandal we shall see. Premiere of "Social Network" will be in September, 24.
Hobo Hauer with a shotgun

Sixty years old Rutger Hauer cheerfully jumps out of the movies category "B" with the help of just stolen shotgun!
Feature film "Hobo with a Shotgun" follows in the footsteps of recently release trash movie "Machete", relegating the notion of "trash" to a qualitatively new level. Even in back 2007 a young Canadian Jason Eisner won the contest of fake trailers to the Tarantino-Rodriguez "Grindhouse" with his "Hobo" and immediately started negotiations with the studios about creating a full-fledged movie. So in 2010 the efforts of director have succeeded, and he immediately began shooting a full meter, having caught in his disposal stainless Rutger Hauer! Hauer is in the role of hobo with a beautiful shotgun and a lot of blood. The movie moral message is quite simple - if all around are stupid degenerates, make sure there is a hobo with a shotgun, which will put everything in order.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I test show

Warner Bros. Studio has held in Chicago a test screening of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1." A few lucky ones who got into the cinema, in a few minutes before beginning, got to know what film they are going to watch.
So, SlashFilm gave a first review of one of the most anticipated film projects of this year.
"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" - a worthy continuation of the series, thematically and visually matured in style of fifth and sixth parts. However, despite the presence of several highly dramatic episodes and increase the play levels of the lead actors, the movie has two major drawbacks.
First. The filmmakers are too meticulously quoting literary source, bringing in a picture all book shortcomings. The scene in the forest camp too snug, but an attempt to dramatize the relationship of the three main characters is rather melancholy. Nevertheless, we have to admit that the three young actors try to make all best from proposed scenario. Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe are very good in the frame.
Second drawback - montage. Probably, this problem may be solved by filmmakers, as the first audiences could be offered "draft" version of the picture. Some episodes give the impression of a hastily-cut and rambling, some outrageously tight, for example, a scene of Ron jealousy.
Fortunately, this is - only a small part of the film.
The rest of the film was most impressed. Operators work is amazing. Part of dramatic episodes and creative solutions to the filmmakers, of course, make roused even those who managed to get bored.
Particularly impressive a start of the movie with “multiple Harry" and a series of highly energetic scene. Special effects have not yet brought to perfection, but perhaps there will be no radical changes there. The film ends with promise. This is not a culmination, but something that will force all viewers to wait with impatience for the second part.
The movie will be released in 18 November 2010.
“Machete” – after view

In the battle with the drug baron federal agent named Machete loses his family, is outside the law and becomes on a path of revenge. Three years later, one businessman hires Machete to kill senator, which was firmly opposed to illegal immigration.

And "Machete" lives up to expectations! Introductory episode begins with a great bloody fight the main heroes of which are: Robert De Niro in the role of villain, cop Jessica Alba, nude Lindsay Lohan and sexy Michelle Rodriguez in a black bra with pistols in her hands. On top of this is an epic battle between immigrants and nationalists, where Danny Trejo is fighting with Steven Segal.
At the same time Rodriguez has managed to register in the "Machete" a quite distinct story about the conspiracy and "Revolucion", to observe on the development of which is almost as fascinating as for fighting enemies.
The problem of illegal immigration is not only Mexico/USA, but many other countries, and the action "Machete" is easy to imagine in the entourage.
"Machete" even contains some ideological message: justice is above the law.
Danny Trejo shines on the screen in a role of brutal killer who prefers machete to a pistol and fights with an enemy face to face. For colorful Mexican actor, who played nearly two hundred negative roles, Machete - perhaps the main role in his life!
On the sidelines in "Machete" occupied a crowd of well-known artists.

New 3D movie from James Cameron

Creator of "Avatar" plans to shoot one more three-dimensional movie about the life and culture of the indigenous inhabitants of Brazil who settled near the inflow of the Amazon, which is currently under active construction of hydroelectric dam.

- Your father definitely upset with your action. How do you think to resolve this conflict?

Paul Thomas Anderson has filmed strict movie about greed, anger and unbroken spirit of rivalry. He made it transparent and without hypocrisy, depicting everything, even the most unsightly features of human nature. The entire film is built on a single character and his tireless struggle for supremacy in an indisputable fact, which he devoted himself, his every breath and every heartbeat. In this struggle, no allies, no rules and no funds, which could be neglected. Under such conditions morality is a luxury, and all around are just hated rivals.
"There will be blood" - a drama about man's victory over himself, on his climbing on unassailable pinnacle of success, the price of which - loneliness and moral decline.
Daniel Plainview (Daniel Day-Lewis) began his path by a simple miner, struggling to provide back-breaking from the bowels of the earth crumbs, which was barely enough to maintain a dream about decent future in his heart.
After years of work in the mines Plainview character has absorbed cold rocks, becoming firm and steadfast like the stone. Persistence, tenacity, ruthlessness to himself and others allowed him to eventually succeed and become one of the first in oil business. Plainview business began to prosper and to grow rapidly. He bought more land and pump oil from the earth's womb. His stepson (Dillon Frise) helped him to deal with the business. A son is another way for Daniel to present himself as a reliable man, respected family ties, while business meetings. In fact, it is not far from the truth, but in the heart of Plainview there is too little place for the boy. Alas, but normal human love and affection has always been viewed by Plainview as a weakness.
The film is magnificent in everything, starting with brilliant acting, script, shooting and finishing with a disturbing, and sometimes unexpectedly jubilant soundtrack of Johnny Greenwood - Group Member "Radiohead". Outstanding play of Daniel Day-Lewis is awarded by "Oscar" and many other awards.
According to the creators of the picture, the film could not take place, if this great English actor refused from the role. Indeed the image of Plainview has success and worthy of all praise and admiration.
We should also pay tribute to Paul Dano, whose talent revealed in the film with surprising strength and scope. Crafty preacher Eli in his performance simply inimitable, and the scenes in which he conducts interviews with Day-Lewis are exceptional! The most notable among them is certainly the final scene, all replicas of which can be easily torn on the quote.
So, "There will be blood" - the strongest drama film worthy of repeated revisions and its place in the close ranks of film classics. A good reference for those who see the film, primarily as an art!
Venice 2010 part 1

On the 1st of September at midnight, Robert Rodriguez showed his new film "Machete", and during the day told why he has never taken off his hat. "Sleeping Beauty" of Catherine Breillat opened the program "Horizons" and "Norwegian Wood" almost fell asleep the whole hall.

In the story a young princess Anastasia at birth gets a terrible gift from the evil witch and must die, pricks his finger with the spindle. Slightly belated and sharp on the tongue the good fairies are trying to alleviate the plight of girl. Anastasia does not die, but just go to sleep for a hundred years. The girl grows lively, arrogant, but still falls asleep. Anastasia sees a dream of a fairy tale about the Snow Queen, which ends not finding the boy, stolen by a cold-blooded villain.
Breillat deftly mixes reality and fairy tale, gradually bringing her movie to the hard finale with already awakened princess from a dream.
Venice 2010 part 2

The second day of the festival has been opened by a new Julian Schnabel movie "Miral".
Miral - the name of the heroine of the film, as well as the name of red flower growing on the roadside. The movie is just about live flowers - orphaned children after the conflict between Israel and Palestine.
The action begins in 1947, when Hind Husseini opens a shelter for homeless children. She gathers orphans from different parts of Palestine. Eventually she becomes stepmother almost to a thousand boys and girls. Frieda Pinto's heroine is in the house of Hindi in the late 1960's and has 17 years of age begins to struggle for the liberation of the motherland.
Raising the subject of the notorious conflict, Schnabel forgot about the main thing - to write interesting characters that the audience can empathize. Unfortunately, Pinto could not pull on a movie.
Applause rang out in the final credits of "Black Sheep" by Ascanio Celestine. Italian film tells the story of St. Nicholas, the patient of psychiatric hospital at the monastery. Nicola was born in the "wonderful sixties", was raised by his grandmother ("she was always old - in 1920, 1930, 1940, 1950 and 1960), because his mother was in the nuthouse. The hero loves old anecdote: "In one nut house there are hundred gates. Two psychos decided to break. They climbed through the 99 gates, and then one of them says: "Listen, I'm tired, let's go back and break tomorrow". Psychos always return, says Nicola. In a sense, he has always been normal, but the concentration of idiots around the boy goes off scale. Eventually he got an imaginary friend, and life in the nuthouse ceased to be boring. But Nicola meeting with the matured girl of his dreams becomes a real nightmare for him.
French drama Happy Few untrained viewer seem like a porn film. There are four heroes - two married couples. Rachel meets Vincent at work. Then they meet for dinner together. Rachel husband Frankie accidentally kisses Teri, wife of Vincent. Couples change their spouses - Rachel sleeps with Vincent, and Frankie with Teri. On the surface it seems that this is just an experiment, but it is not just swing. It is likely that here involved real feelings. However, the director is so fond of showing erotic scenes that almost forgets to back the plot in its original track. Because it's obvious that such an alignment doesn't lead to something good.
Jan de Bont and filming of Hua Mulan

The author of "Speed" Jan de Bont has filmed Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi in a new English version of the history of "Hua Mulan" co-production movie, funded by independent sources. For many viewers the content of this classical Chinese poem known by the same name Disney, released in 1998 and became a hit of release.
The poem, created in the VI century, has survived various literary variations and many interpretations. In the center of Hua Mulan - a girl, wearing men's clothes and set off in fight instead of his elderly father, whose son (and, indeed, the brother of the girl) was still too young to participate in hostilities.
In her home service heroine has achieved great success and was encouraged by the emperor. The plot ends with the fact that Mulan returns home to dress in women's clothes, in order to appear before the eyes of her comrades, who for all 12 years of joint campaigns didn't even suspect that one of their companions in fact a woman.
In China, about Mulan was shot several feature films, the last of which was released in 2009.
Disney animation is even awarded the sequel, though, it was released straight to dvd.
Filming of Jan de Bont movie will begin this fall in the largest studios of the world Hengdian World Studios, located in China. Manufacturing companies are engaged in the movie: Movie Plus Productions (Canada), Global Film Finance (UK), Bona International Film Group and SIMF Pictures (Beijing).
Among the producers of the movie is itself Zhang Ziyi, Ling Lucas, Ming Beaver Quay, Mark Phillips, Ron Lynch, Steve Waterman and Movie Plus president Christopher J. Brou. Executive producers will be Paul A. Edwards, Jeffrey Chan Bona International, Fred Wong (Salon Films) and Jeffrey P. Krantsdorf. Screenwriter of the movie is John Blikstid.
