“Golden Globe” nominees
It have already became known the names of nominees for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association "Golden Globe". At this point Oscar race may be considered officially open: for applicants to "Globes", many conclusions are drawn about future favorites of "Oscar."
Nominees were announced by the actors Gerard Butler, Woody Harrelson, Sofia Vergara and Rashida Jones. This year's six nominations for the award in black and white silent film "Artist" Michelle Hazanavichus and five - in "Help". In favorites are "Midnight in Paris" by Woody Allen, "The Ides of March" by George Clooney and "Descendants" by Alexander Payne of the same Clooney in the title role.
This year is rather good for Clooney, as he can get just three statues. Two nominations for Ryan Gosling: for such films as "The Ides of March" and "Crazy stupid love." Competing in the "massacre" and Kate Winslet, Jodie Foster, nominated for "Best Actress in a comedy or musical film", but their partners in the film category are not awarded.
