Crime series - one of the most popular topics. Not for nothing there are dozens of excellent, spanning from the head, interesting TV projects on criminology. This topic was overtaking virtually all sides. Starting with Colombo and finishing with Dr. Laitman (from the famous series "Lie to me").
"The Shield" shows criminal world quite differently. Here are, are ruling streets. The world is cruel and mercy can be expected. Not anyone can be trusted. The atmosphere of crime created an incredibly realistic. And the operator's work leaves its mark.

From the first training the series plunges the audience into a kind of bloody meat grinder: murderers, rapists, pimps, pedophiles, freaks, drug dealers, prostitutes, and so each series. The film is very dynamic and filmed in a realistic manner and is replete with naturalistic scenes of violence. The situation is changing literally every minute. Also, there are guest stars - Forest Whitaker is great in the role of one of the antagonists of Mecca officer of the department of internal investigations.

The 67th Venice Film Festival has passed for the middle. It is time to see what ratings are issued by foreign juries for the films of the main competition program.
