Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has joined “Mad Max”
The star of the third "Transformers" Rosie Huntington-Whiteley will continue to move away from the podium to the side of a large cinema. British supermodel will star in the film by George Miller's "Mad Max 4", where are involved Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron.
A couple of weeks ago, the tabloids found out about the meeting of Whiteley with the director of "Mad Max 4" in Sydney. Apparently, the conversation with the actress has satisfied the Miller, as last week, Rosie was adopted by one of the roles in the project.
In addition to Huntington-Whiteley, the film invites yet another supermodel, Abbey Lee Kershaw. Presumably the girls will play two of the "five wives," who pursue the villains, while the protection of women raises the hero of Tom Hardy.
Work on the new "Mad Max" was repeatedly postponed. For the first time the desire to revive Miller's legendary hero of the 1980s became known in May 2009. Then Mel Gibson has not yet become a Hollywood outcast, and again play Mad Max was not going to. In the autumn of 2009 to the project were attributed Hardy and Theron, but at the same time work on the film had to stop because of the price jumped in the Australian dollar and that had an impact on the budget belt.
In 2009, the same survey were planning to resume no earlier than February 2012. Producers almost kept their promise: work on tape is already underway. Already in July, the film crew went to Namibia, which will serve as the place of the "Mad Max 4."
At the 65th Cannes Film Festival Tom Hardy presented his new film, "Lawless," shocking journalists lush vegetation on the face. It was rumored that Hardy grows a beard just for the "Mad Max". His colleague, Charlize Theron has recently received absolutely the opposite, shaving her luxurious blond hair.
"Mad Max 4" should be the first film of the new trilogy, but only time will tell what happens in reality.
