Robert Downey Jr. for a time left the film set of "The Avengers" in New Mexico and visited Hero Complex Film Festival in Hollywood, where in a joint interview with director Jon Favreau spoke about both parts of the movie "Iron Man" and a looming on the horizon, the third part of the franchise, which will shoot director Shane Black.
Downey Jr.: Here's what I want to say at the outset. The most difficult question about the "Iron Man 3" is to persuade Jon Favreau to star in the film.

Downey Jr.: Negotiations have already begun, and since then I agree with every point of the contract. Shane ... all so interesting. The fact is that when we were working on "Iron Man 2," we happened to John was a hitch - just could not figure out type of bond between scenes. In short, hung. I say, "Come on, we'll consult with Shane." We call, I told him, "Hey, Shane, we have no money," and he "Bring me some salmon and blueberries." In general, he helped us to come up with a couple of scenes then. And now it is something like the life cycle, and now Shane will direct the third "Iron Man" and asks: "And when we talk to John?" Favreau: I love this franchise, and I'm a big fan of Shane, and I hope that what I can – I’ll help, because I want the project to grow and develop.
