The company Alcon Entertainment, dedicated to creating a sequel, "Blade Runner", has announced a remake of Kathryn Bigelow film "Point Break". For the script to the new version of the famous painting is responsible Kurt Wimmer.
Three years ago, there were reports about the possibility of production of the sequel to the Bigelow movie, who was put Jan De Bont, but judging by everything, whether venture has been delayed, or transformed into a remake. Wimmer is also the producer of the future picture, but the director's seat is still free.
Hero of "Point Break" was a young FBI agent Johnny Utah (Keanu Reeves) investigating the cause of the gang bank robbers. Over time he begins to penetrate more and more sympathy for this company as well as their charismatic leader Bodie (Patrick Swayze). But what Johnny would do when he, if suspicions are confirmed, will have to detain surfers?
"Point Break" was relatively well in worldwide box office over the years was able to overgrown cult fame, and a similar plot scheme used another hit - the movie "Fast and the Furious."
