Interview with Montana Fishburne
Montana Fishburne, daughter of actor Laurence Fishburne, starring in porn film for the company Vivid Entertainment, in an interview with the resource The Hollywood Reporter spoke about adult entertainment industry and her future creative plans.
- Did you speak with your family after the film?
"I spoke with my father. He told me that I knocked him out. Mom just simply says that she loves me. We do not discuss this question every day. She wished me luck and do not want me got into the dark side of the porn industry".
- What does it mean "dark side of the porn industry"?
"Drugs. Most girls have a very low self-esteem, so they resort to drugs and live a destructive lifestyle".
- When did you decide that this is what you want to do?
"I was interested in the entertainment industry for four years. When I turned 18, I began to think seriously about how best to begin my career. I was impressed by the success of Kim Kardashian after as her home video with pornographic content were produced by Vivid Entertainment. I decided to call the company and arrange a meeting. I have convinced Vivid Entertainment co-chairman Steven Hirsch in that I know what I want, and we've discussed my film debut.
- According to rumors, your fee for the film made $ 250,000. Can you confirm this information?
"Actually, I cannot talk about this, though, of course, I've earned something. With the money I pay for my apartment".
- Have you other proposals from Vivid Entertainment after success of the film?
"Yes, we have had negotiations and we discussed possible projects, but I've not signed any documents yet. I do not know whether I want to do this right now: in fact, I get a lot of suggestions. I think firstly I'll look through all possible proposals and then make a choice."
- Can you give a hint about those proposals?
"I cannot detail, but it is play roles. I do not care whether my role will be spelled out in the script or do I have to use a free hand. It all depends on the nature of the project. If something really interested me, I'd be happy to be a part of this project. That's why I decided to play in that movie".
- How do you think will have that movie a negative impact on your future career?
"Video of Kim Kardashian has taken place, and everything is fine with her. Despite the backlash, she still continues this venture. I want to follow her example: release porn and stay a positive person. Without replicas: "She is the porn star".
- Your father definitely upset with your action. How do you think to resolve this conflict?
"Up until he begins to respect and accept me as I am, I do not think that we'll communicate a lot."
- Your father friends tried to buy the entire print run video in an attempt to prevent film release. What was your reaction to this?
"Yes, they tried to break out of the film, but the dvd were already on sale at that time. I understand that they wanted to support my father, but I'm glad that they did not work out."
- Have you received a traditional upbringing, despite the fact that you are the daughter of a celebrity?
"I was traditionally untraditional. My parents divorced when I was 2 years, and my father really was a famous actor, so the situation was entirely predictable. We had all the best: private schools, round the world trip. I was very happy. "
