Interview with Justin Timberlake
In the comedy "Sex in friendship," the hero Justin Timberlake and heroine Mila Kunis decide to enjoy physical intimacy, while ignoring the emotional and spiritual aspects. In an interview with PARADE Timberlake talks about the idea of an inspirational movie, and explains why he did not think a picture of another romantic comedy.
- How were you able to keep in the comedy during the love scenes?
"When there is a situational humor, it looks more plausible. So, we have two young persons who decided to have sex without interfering with the emotions of the case, so they do not have to worry about the feelings of each other.
It was possible to be very honest in acting, and we thought it was funny. We were never asked, "Hey, do the love scenes so awkward, as you can." In general, a lot of funny moments happened as a result of conversations and impromptu. The challenge was to find a way to comment what happened between them because of their modesty, and makes them so endearing and charming. So why not continue to do so during the sex scenes? "
- How do you think, does the concept of fried sex work in everyday life?
"I think that Mila will agree with me that this idea is not a long term, and there is no way to make it long. Either it will lead to something more, or come to naught."
- What was the inspiration the film?
"We hope that there will laugh while watching those moments that show what an absurd, ridiculous life can be. I think that's what viewers love in "When Harry Met Sally". What I liked about this movie, so for me Harry and Sally were similar. They treated each other as equals, and talked about their own generation, of how society looks at love, sex and relationships. It is in this spirit that we wanted to make this movie: shoot comedy about the modern generation. "
- Has the transformation into a movie star always been a part of your career plan?
"If you mean starring in a movie, then no, I never wanted to do anything, so I was not inspired. If this is an interesting role - great. If it is possible to write a song for Lil `Wayne, super. This can be anything. My choice, in fact, is always very sincere. And I do not think in that sense that anything will change, because until now this approach has always defended itself. "
- The film is pretty nasty ...
"Originally the movie was PG-13 rating. I was against it. I had no desire to participate in a PG-13 version of this picture. I wanted to have a realistic film about real people in real life situations that cause a smile".
