Costume Designers Guild Awards 2012

On Tuesday, February 21, were awarded the 14th Costume Designers Guild Awards. Oddly enough, seduced by a majority of critics and moviegoers, "Artist" was left without a prize in the category "Historical movies." Special award has gotten actress Kate Beckinsale.

Ceremony held at the "Beverly Hilton", led by actress Jane Lynch. In addition to the main prizes were awarded four honorary awards. Kate Beckinsale was the laureate of Lacoste Spotlight Award. The designer Marlene Stewart, who worked on "Ali," "Tropic Thunder," "Terminator 2" and many other paintings received Disaronno Career Achievement in Film Award.

The award for contribution to television has gotten Lou Eyrich, among the works which the "Body Parts", "Losers" and "American Horror Story." It has been headed by one of the creators of the series Ryan Murphy.

Distinguished Collaborator Award went to Deborah Hopper and Clint Eastwood. Together they worked on for twenty years. Handing out the award, Ken Watanabe, who starred with Eastwood in his "Letters from Iwo Jima."
