Comic-Con: Frames from “Hobbit” in 2D

Visitors of Comic-Con have liked fragments of "The Hobbit" even without 3D, and the infamous demonstration of the speed at 48 frames per second. Since Peter Jackson decided before the fans come out to the suffering and provide 12 minutes of the long-awaited first part of future Novels. However, there is a chance that the "Hobbit" could become a trilogy.

The decision of Jackson is clear: all the memorable demonstration of the trailer, "The Hobbit" at the convention CinemaCon, where the video in 3D, and 48 fps was honored with a very cool reception. Of course, the fans - more than a loyal audience, but it should be used sparingly, and to whom, if not the director of "Lord of the Rings", know this.

Peter Jackson took the stage, holding the phone at arm's length. Shot the set especially for those who did not get to Comic-Con. Jackson introduced the co-writer Philippe Boyens and his wife Fran Walsh. Then the lights went out and started cuttings form the film.

The longest stage was in the beginning of the movie. Gandalf, Bilbo and the dwarves are at Bag End and argue about how to get back the treasure from the dragon Smaug. A lot of funny moments, and most of all laughter caused Bilbo reluctant to go along with the dwarves on a journey. This was followed by shots of Rivendell, Saruman (Christopher Lee), replaced by Gandalf galloping on a horse with a sword at the ready - he is clearly running somewhere. Galadriel and Gandalf talking about how Saruman will fight against evil. The trolls, giants, goblins, Legolas. Bilbo and Gollum ask each other riddles, there Smigol (a split personality in the performance of Andy Serkis is always great!) and is torn between a desire to play and eat Bilbo alive. Bilbo finds the ring and follows it to Gandalf. "I found something in the goblin tunnels," - he says the magician, but when he asks what it is, the hobbit hiding the ring in his pocket, saying: "Courage." Gandalf approves: "Good. We will need it".

Jackson called to the scene the actors. Andy Cerkis, Martin Freeman, Richard Armitage and Sir Ian McKellen came out from behind the scenes by the roar of the crowd, and when the surprise came Elijah Wood, the hall joy knew no bounds. More about the "Hobbit" became known to some curious facts.

Composer Howard Shore for the next six to eight weeks start recording music with the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
Jackson has not removed his cameo appearance, but once back in New Zealand will do it.

Philippa Boyens explained the presence of Galadriel in the movie: "It was the most powerful in the creation of Middle-earth in the days of "The Hobbit", so we decided to include it in the film."

Tauriel played by Evangeline Lilly, was invented specifically for the film to enhance a woman's presence.
Freeman joked that he did not complain about hairy legs of hobbits, since around was full of colleagues in the makeup of the Dwarfs.
Does Jackson want to make a film on the "Silmarillion"? "I am unlikely to live more than a hundred years!" - Joked the director, but then seriously added that the rights to the book are in Tolkien's relatives who are not enthusiastic about the film adaptations of his authorship.

Peter Jackson also said that rumors about the transformation of "The Hobbit" in the trilogy, though premature, but not unfounded.

"We have the right to use the 125 pages of additional notes of Tolkien in which he expanded the world of "The Hobbit". We talked with Fran with the studio about what we could not shoot. It may be possible to persuade them to a few weeks next year. But what form will these surveys, it is too early to say. In this story there are other parties that we would like to tell you. "

"The Hobbit: an unexpected journey," will be released in cinemas in December 20, 2012.
