Bin Laden is alive
Osama bin Laden will appear in a movie. The elusive (and possibly imaginary) the leader of Al-Qaida is the hero of the new Indian movie "Tere Bin Laden" (Without you, Bin Laden) about creative young journalist, who accidentally meets Bin Laden twin. The reporter, played by Pakistani singer Ali Zafar, shooting a video with a twin of well known terrorist. Video instantly become super popular, and the journalist is trying to use his moment of glory, to immigrate to the United States.
"This film helps to take a fresh look at the events of the September 11, known by attacks for many people, but I want to do it with humor" - says film's director Abishek Sharma. When he meets the twin of Bin Laden, he comes up with the idea to make a video. This video makes him famous, and, ironically, he must use the main enemy the United States to create a favorable impression of himself"- said the director in an interview.
This is not the first Indian film, centered on the well-known criminal: a recent film about the last days of Hitler caused a scandal, a few Jewish groups have expressed violent protests, resulting in the actor playing the role of Hitler, was forced to leave the cinema.
But Sharma said that his low-budget "Tere Bin Laden", which will be released in India on July 16, is not a serious film, and expects that the audience will perceive it correctly.
