Crime series - one of the most popular topics. Not for nothing there are dozens of excellent, spanning from the head, interesting TV projects on criminology. This topic was overtaking virtually all sides. Starting with Colombo and finishing with Dr. Laitman (from the famous series "Lie to me").
"The Shield" shows criminal world quite differently. Here are, are ruling streets. The world is cruel and mercy can be expected. Not anyone can be trusted. The atmosphere of crime created an incredibly realistic. And the operator's work leaves its mark.
Detective Vic Mackie is the central figure of the "Shield". He does not recognize the rules, he acts on his methods. And only by such methods he can reduce crime. He violates all the laws, and get out of scrapes in various ways. And his steeper and charisma virtually have no limits.
The Strike Team consists of detectives: impenetrable and going to ram Wick Mecca, the restless Shane Vendrell, a peaceful and responsive Lem (Curtis Lemanski) and sensible and quiet Ronnie Gardokki.
In the same building work and concerted companions in the face of detective Claudette Wims and Dachboy Vahenbah, and officers Danny Sofer and Julian Lowe, detectives Tevon Harris and canny Armando Rent, beautiful and naive agent Olivia Murray and lieutenant John Kavanagh.

It is worth mentioning that the series is very similar to one of my favorite - "Training Day". Bad cop, own methods, one goal - are the key words that link these projects.
The cast picked up very well. Michael Chiklis was three times nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actor, and once he took the trophy. His character and his game make "The Shield" even more special.
From the first training the series plunges the audience into a kind of bloody meat grinder: murderers, rapists, pimps, pedophiles, freaks, drug dealers, prostitutes, and so each series. The film is very dynamic and filmed in a realistic manner and is replete with naturalistic scenes of violence. The situation is changing literally every minute. Also, there are guest stars - Forest Whitaker is great in the role of one of the antagonists of Mecca officer of the department of internal investigations.
The series looks easy and addicts. If you like tough cops, detective investigation, fire, lie - this series is created for you. There you can find many interesting things!

At the heart of a thriller - a book of Chuck Hogan's "Beyond Sherwood Forest". Published in 2004, it has won the prestigious Hammett Prize from the International Association of Authors. Therefore, the film got in sight of producer Graham King, who bought the film rights.
The main character is Doug McRae (Ben Affleck) is not like a typical burglar. Rather, his friend Jem (Jeremy Renner) likes a thug, but Doug is another. He never shot at people and generally happy to be tied, but the genes do not allow: his father (Chris Cooper) was a criminal and is serving a life sentence. During a robbery, Doug and his partners were taken hostage employee of the bank Claire (Rebecca Hall). It turns out that the girl lives in Charlestown - in the same area of Boston, where are based robbers. Jem psyches and tells Doug to deal with Claire. Star of TV series "Mad Man" John Ham tried to move away from his hero Don Drape director of advertising agency, working in the 60's.

“Reservoir Dogs” classic of cinematography

"Reservoir Dogs" the first generally accepted picture of the remarkable director Quentin Tarantino. In this review, I will not say much about my attitude towards Mr. Tarantino, a part of my monologue is devoted to the description of my impressions from his movie "Reservoir Dogs".
Above, I accidentally said that "Reservoir Dogs" is the first recognized film by Quentin Tarantino. I made this conclusion after watching the press conference by Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino at Comic Con 2006 on "Grindhouse", where one of the fans of these two directors asked a very interesting question:
"What should I do to be a Quentin Tarantino?"
And the answer was not long in coming: "You have to shoot Reservoir Dogs!" - Said Robert Rodriguez, after which the entire auditorium applauded and laughed at the same time. It was an amazing press conference!
Now about the movie. I will not say that the picture is unique in every sense. Its uniqueness is that attention to detail sharpened to the limit. All these gangster jokes, movement, manners and behavior. All is great. This is certainly merit actors. Every actor is incredibly charismatic. That only stands when they are listed the names of actors, and they all come in tuxedos, just feel the power. I think through this lured Tarantino and the female audience on his side. From this it follows that this movie is for everyone. But women must be prepared for black humor behalf of Rodriguez and Tarantino.
"Reservoir Dogs" as though it may sound strange, is a very standard film. Despite the fact that the scenery of the film is limited to one room. But this is not a bad indicator. With regards to the plot "Reservoir Dogs" has remembered me a wonderful picture of Martin Scorsese's action "The Departed". But "The Departed" just stands on the formation of the classics of the criminal genre and the picture of Quentin Tarantino's has gotten there long ago.
But recently on what is worth paying attention to the names of actors in the title roles.
Michael Madsen as always in the role of the scoundrel, a sadistic and mentally unbalanced person. It was all done masterfully. Tim Roth elegant fit into his image. Perhaps one of his best roles.
Harvey Keitel - King of the scene. Steve Buscemi in which once successfully coped with the role, successfully playing a gangster, always flaunting in front of all but the weakest of the entire company.
Summarizing, we can say that "Reservoir Dogs" is a classic of a criminal genre and one of the best works by maestro Tarantino. If you consider yourself a connoisseur of movies, then you must look this movie. Whether you liked the movie or not, you should watch it, because it is a classic...

TV series review...
Joel Booth - friend of the groom. He is very loyal to all, but he lacks the charisma inherent in the other. He suffers from "seasickness", over which sometimes make fun of his friends.
Katherine Wellington - wife of convenience, sexy, closer in age to his stepdaughter, than to her husband. Trish does not love her, but Shea is more favorable, because this woman makes their dad happy.
Kelly Seaver has a unique relationship with Abby, both their mothers were killed by John Wakefield. But when Abbey went to the island, Kelly stayed. She struggled with depression, tried to kill herself and has always believed that Wakefield is still alive and someday will return for her.

Maggie Krell - energetic manager of Cendlvic. She knew Abby, Henry and Trish, when they were children and was very happy to see them again. She meticulously planned all the events of the week and prepares a lot of surprises for the wedding guests.
Malcolm Ross - friend of the groom. Malcolm tries to start a business. His friends, because of lack of money, support him only morally. His inability to create capital had a great emotional impact on Malcolm, and made him capable on the things that his friends never knew existed.
Nikki Bolton - old Abby friend, live on the island and manages the bar. She is - sexy, does not recede in conflicts. She was glad to Abby return and hopes to have a good time at the wedding party in the city.
Richard Allen – husband of Shea. Seems a good family man. Henry sees Richard as an example of how he cannot become - a gentle subordinates, which completely broke down under the thumb of Wellington.
Shane Pearce is working on a boat with his best friend, Jimmy Manse, and he does not like that the return of Abby turned Jimmy in her little whipping boy. He hates John Dee. Shane has rather complex nature that makes him capable of much.

Abbey Mills - Henry's best friend, she first returned to the island, since her mother was killed by maniac seven years ago.

Fourth season of “Breaking Bad” for chemistry teacher
