One more season of “How I met your mother”
The channel CBS and 20th Century Fox TV has started talks about a single season sitcom "How I Met Your Mother." In the autumn of this year will start the eighth season, which was supposed to be the last, but it seems to be followed by another sequel.
According to Variety, the decision to order another season has come to the leadership of the channel after the unexpectedly high ratings of the seventh season. The total number of visitors reached 8.3 million - such figure the show producers were observed during the third and the best season in terms of audience, have occurred from 2008 to 2009.
The creators of the show and its executive producers Carter Baize and Craig Thomas signed contracts only for 2012-2013, as well as the five stars of the project, including Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Cobie Smolders, Neil Patrick Harris and Alyson Hannigan.
It should be mentioned that the negotiations on the ninth season, while only preliminary, but fans of the series can rejoice that such an option is considered, as it had on was not even mentioned.
Given that Baze and Thomas already know how Ted met the mother of two teenagers, with a kind of boring sitting on the couch in the beginning of each episode, we can assume that the authors did not extend the amount of story for another season. In addition, the writers have not yet started to compose the eighth event of the season.
Over the years, actors who starred in the series, scored stellar weight. Neil Patrick Harris is leading big ceremonies, Josh Radnor is shooting a movie, Kobe Smolders became part of the universe Marvel, well, and Jason Segel is actively writing and removed. Do they agree on one more season of "How Met Your Mother" - is a big question.
New thriller from Rob Reiner
Director Rob Reiner remembers the past, when under his leadership were made such films as "Misery," "A Few Good Men" and "Ghosts of Mississippi", and remove the psychological thriller, "You belong to me». According to insiders, the picture will look like "Cape Fear".
Reiner's latest film was in wide release five years ago. Melodrama, "The Bucket List" has earned a worldwide box office 174 million dollars. The next two works of director - comedy, "Hi, Julie!" and "8" - really have not got to the viewer. Reiner's new film "The Magic of Belle Isle" with Morgan Freeman will be released in the U.S. in early July.
The protagonist of "You belong to me" - a psychiatrist who breaks all the possible laws of his profession and begins to talk about himself with his patient. Rob Reiner has repeatedly confessed his love for the genre of thriller, but lamented that it is now very difficult to find a story that nobody saw.
"Thriller is difficult to shoot well, but just the story was very well established from a psychological point of view, and plot twist in the ending caught me by surprise - director says. - So I decided to take up this stuff. "
Production of the film is scheduled for autumn this year, filming will take place in New York. In the near future will begin casting for the role of the psychiatrist, his wife, their daughter and brother of the patient. About the most patient Hollywood publications are silent.
In summer, Reiner will be another occupation. The director remembers his acting past and go to the site to his colleague Martin Scorsese to play the hero's father, Leonardo DiCaprio in the drama "The Wolf of Wall Street."

Tom Cruise: “I learned to sing for five hours a day”
In an interview with Playboy magazine, Tom Cruise talked about his role in "Rock of ages" and how the singer received the approval of the group Def Leppard. Excerpts from the interview read below.
- July 3 you will be 50. At this age, most men suffer from indigestion, bald, and monitor pressure. How do you manage to look almost twice younger then your age years?
"Honestly, no idea (laughs). I work. I'm always with my family. Train a lot, a little sleep. Toil, in a word."
- You do not even have wrinkles, unlike your peers. You do plastic surgery, or maybe just going to?
- "I do not do and do not intend to."
- What does this line mean to you?
"When I played in "Rebound", my first movie I remember lying in a hotel room at night, thinking about how I like my job. I wanted to shoot from 4 years old, and therefore hoped that, if I'm lucky in a "Rebound", maybe I could do it all my life. Approaching 50, I still do it. July 3, I'll be in Iceland on the set. My family, my wife - they understand me. I spent most of many birthdays on the set, they were all excellent. "
- What have you learned since then, as you passed 20?
"I have always adhered to some values. Family to me means a lot. When I'm on the set, all come to me. When Katie is working, I and the children are with her. We are always together. And I'm always with my mom and sisters. I've always wanted to be a father, husband. I have a good labor education - I worked part time, from eight years: clipped lawns, collecting fallen leaves, sign and send greeting cards for Easter and Christmas. "
- Did you go from house to house, offering your services?
"Yes, I did it in Canada and Kentucky. I was brought up by women, the mother had to pay the bills herself. We all contributed. Therefore, the work is so important to me."
- And what did you do with the accumulated money?
"As far as I can remember, I wanted to ride a motorcycle and racing cars. I wanted to play on them all sorts of jumps and other tricks. Every birthday, I would like to receive as a gift only a motorcycle. When I turned 12, I bought it for myself."
- How difficult is it to learn to do somersaults on a motorcycle in 12 years?
"It is very difficult (laughs). I am also one that is not taught. Many times I broke up because I love to drive fast. And all sorts of other tricks done. When we lived in Canada, I was doing gymnastics and usually did a somersault, jumping straight from the roof. I found the highest point on the roof and tried to figure, before landing in a snowdrift. "
- You were still the fruit!
"Yes, (laughs). I usually invited to such representations neighborhood kids and my sisters. Sisters have always said the same words: "Tommy, you break the death, and the mother will kill you!" Of course, I broke the legs and the nose" .
- In addition to broken limbs, what was the outcome of your experiments?
"I learned that even in tough times you have a choice - to allow circumstances to take the upper hand over you, or to defeat them by yourself. My choice - learn to cope with them."
- It has some relation to those tricks that you perform in the movies?
"I always train very hard. In order for the "Last Samurai" wield a sword and do it in rough terrain and it does not dislocate my knee, I trained for a year for six hours, seven days a week. Same thing I do for the "Rock of ages" - five hours a day learning to sing and three hours - to dance. "
- Did you know that you can sing of "Rock of ages"?
"I knew I could hold a note. I sang in clubs when I was 14, and in the choir in high school. But I never took voice lessons. Nobody ever taught me how to use my voice."
- How do you develop a voice for singing in stadiums?
"This man was an opera singer, and he taught me how to control my voice. This is similar to the mastery of an unfamiliar sport, or getting used to the new role. I had to figure out how to pass air through the vocal cords and in what place in the chest and head to direct it. These need to perform exercises daily to strengthen my voice. "
- The first song you sang before a crowd was Pour Some Sugar on Me, and the musicians of the group Def Leppard were on a set and watching you. Feel the pressure?
"Yes, (laughs)."
- Your character is hard to take seriously. It is ridiculously dissolute, and his only friend - a baboon.
"He's a slave of rock 'n' roll. When he was on stage, he gives it the whole himself. Beyond its emotional relationship he is looking pretty strange ways, and here begins the comedy."

Guy Ritchie will shoot “Treasure Island”
Director Guy Ritchie is going to shoot "Treasure Island" - new movie version of famous novel by Robert Louis Stevenson.
The first reports of the tape have been in the news in April 2010. In the wake of the success of a film about the famous English detective, played Robert Downey Jr., Uigrem announced his plans for the classics of adventure literature. At the same time asserted that in the hands of studio Warner, for which the producer has developed a project there is already a ready script for whose writing was in charge, Michael Gilio. On the same plot details of the future picture (of what, for example, in the modern version will be key characters), the company did not apply. Now that the "Treasure Island" is attached Guy Ritchie, says that the story of Robert Louis Stevenson adapt for the screen, Alex Harakis, which, however, we know even less than that of the previous nominee screenwriter.
The director of "Big jackpot" on a par with Lionel Uigrem take part in producing the tape. In addition, the production will involve Kevin McCormick of Langley Park, in whose track record can be found melodrama "Lucky," a comedy "Arthur. The ideal millionaire ", as well as preparing for hire of criminal drama "Gangster Squad” with Josh Brolin and Ryan Gosling.
It is noteworthy that in 2010 just shortly before the producer of "Sherlock Holmes" shared his thoughts on a stylized adaptation of "Treasure Island", a British company Ecosse Films has also informed about their ambitions in relation to the pirate saga of Stevenson. And as if the reference is also cited renewed adventures of hero Arthur Conan Doyle. However, the project has since not been heard.
Guy Ritchie is currently busy with "The Man from UNCLE" based on the same series of the 1960s. His last directorial work "Sherlock Holmes: The Game of Shadows" gathered in movie theaters around the world for a total of 534 million dollars in the 125-million cost.
The star of “Big bang theory” will play with Owen Wilson
Melissa Rausch got a role in the romantic comedy "You're here." In the feature directorial debut of Matthew Weiner, creator of "Mad Men" are also employed Owen Wilson, Zach Galifianakis and Amy Poehler.
The painting, which the script was written by the author of telesaga of advertisers of the 1960s, tells the story of meteorologists Steve (Wilson) and his buddy Ben infantile (Galifianakis). The latter, on learning of his father's death, sent along with a friend to the funeral and learns that his rather eccentric disposition parent left his son a legacy of not only money. While Ben is trying to overcome a lot of leaning on his issues, Steve is busy courting the young widow. Gradually the trip becomes a challenge to the once strong relationship of devoted friends.
Sister of the hero Galifianakis in "You're here" will play Amy Poehler. In addition, there will shoot Laura Ramsey and Joel Gretsch.
Melissa Rausch assigned the role of a bright vulgar call girl. Although on account of actress there are several secondary images in the movies such as "I Love You, Man", she, nevertheless, better known as the Bernadette Rostenkovski of the "Big Bang Theory." Participation in the project of Matthew Weiner will increase the chances of the series stars a career in cinema.
Filming "You're here," will start later this month in North Carolina. It should be noted that the launch of the tape in the production of the creator of "Mad Men", he said, wanted for eight years. In November 2009, Weiner was as close to the implementation of his ideas. Then in dramedy were interested Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Aniston, and eventually became part of the project Zach Galifianakis. A year later, the director said that the film will attend other actors - Jack Black, Matt Dillon and Renee Zellweger.
