After a pretty dismal autumn, NBC produced a number of changes in the schedule:
- First of all from the schedule has disappeared «Prime Suspect» (NBC claims not made a final decision to close it), and three other shows with problem ratings - Whitney, Up All Night and Harry's Law - continue to "live."
- Second, NBC created a comedy block on Wednesday, consisting of «Whitney» (return January 11) and the new series «Are You There, Chelsea?» (Early «Are You There, Vodka? It's Me Chelsea»).
- Third, to somehow "save" the novelty of the season «Up All Night» from the weekly loss of viewers, NBC rearranges the show on Thursday night, where the lead-in it will have «The Office».
New «Smash» starts on Monday. Harry's Law will now go on Sundays. But «Awake» and «Community» in the schedule were not available. NBC argues that the Community is not closed more than Prime Suspect.

Eastwood is not sure whether Hoover was a transvestite.
Clint Eastwood: All the way people speculated that Hoover - a transvestite. But no one knows for sure whether this is true. We can’t believe any word of woman who incriminating Hoover, because he has sent her husband to jail, so who knows how far she wanted to take revenge on him?

During the First World War, Bell worked for British intelligence and played an important role in the breakup of the Ottoman Empire and the formation of Iraq. Going after the First World War, a dangerous journey through the shifting sands of Arabia, Bell soon became the closest adviser to the king.

Two of the projects from director on the list - a story of family Gucci and thriller Child 44 about a serial killer in the Soviet Union since Stalin.
Lawyer John Branca, representing the Jackson family, turned to the production company Ivan Reitman Montecito Picture Company with a proposal to work on a biographical film about Michael Jackson. It will go there only on certain periods of life of the late singer.
Business partner of Reitman in Montecito Picture Tom Pollock has confirmed that talks are underway, but they are still at an early stage. No written agreement exists.
Heirs of Jackson now oversee the representation of Cirque du Soleil «Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour", so there is no hurry with the launch of the film project. Nevertheless, the fact of the consent of relatives for a biopic about the musician make the most of Hollywood agents, saliva bleed - get a role in this film will be very, very prestigious.
Montecito Picture Company was established in 2000. The first picture of the new company became the debut comedy of Todd Phillips' “Road Trip". Among other projects, "Eurotrip," "Disturbia," "Love you, dude," "Up in the Air" and "No string s attached".
Which periods of Jackson’s life will be honored to be displayed on the big screen is not disclosed. Biography of the singer's full of a variety of events, since he began performing on stage with five years as a member of The Jackson 5. Solo career began in 1979 and in 1982 released the album Thriller, which to this day is considered the best-selling in the history of music. Studio 20th Century Fox and Chernin Entertainment company asked Tim Burton to design and make a film on the book by Ransom Riggs' "Miss Peregrine House for special children". The film rights of the original novel were acquired in the spring of this year.
Jacob passed his childhood under the grandfather's stories about a shelter for unusual children. Among its residents a girl who knew how to handle fire, the girl whose feet do not touch the ground, invisible boy, and the twins, who were able to communicate without words. When the grandfather dies, 16-year-old Jacob receives a mysterious letter and sent to the island where his grandfather grew up. There he finds the children who had seen only in photographs.
The book has many pictures that are simply being asked to come to life on the screen under the direction of the chief specialist of Hollywood. It is interesting that Burton did not work with studio Fox after the failure of his staging of "Planet of the Apes." When the director was asked if he would like to shoot the sequel, Tim replied, "I better get out of the window." But now Fox released "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" by Timur Bekmambetov, where Burton was listed as producer, so it is likely that the relationship with Tim has been changed.
Now Tim Burton directs putting the finishing touches on the painting "The dark shadow," which premiered on 10 May, well in the autumn of next year, on the screens will be released an animated film "Frankenweenie" based on the eponymous short film of director.
Trailer for the book is as follows:
Lionsgate studio is courting a screenwriter Simon Bofoya, the laureate of "Oscar" for the adaptation of the book Wicasa Swarup "Q & A" in the film "Slumdog Millionaire", to bring him to the script of the sequel "The Hunger Games." The second novel of trilogy from Suzanne Collins is called "Catching fire".
Those, who have read the book know that the main theme in it is a jubilee, the 75th games played on the Capitol, the capital of Panem. "Hunger Games" is nothing but an attempt to intimidate the existing 12 districts for the edification of the rebellion, arranged many years ago in the 13th District. Capitol wiped out all its inhabitants, and now every year, selects from each district boys and girls to participate in a deadly game of survival.
The heroine Jennifer Lawrence will have again to go through a nightmare in the arena where the games held, since every 25 years the Capitol is the surviving winners of the previous games and pushes them together.
On the script for "Hunger Games" worked Billy Ray and director Gary Ross, but Ross is now working on the first film, and he is not engaged in a script to the sequel. "Catching fire" can be adapted for film Englishman Simon Bofoy, who worked with Danny Boyle on "Slumdog Millionaire" and "127 hours".
From Swarup's novel in the film was only a Boyle story - writer masterfully reworked the text, turning it into a somewhat different story. The book, which has appeared at the heart of "Millionaire," is much darker and literally littered with corpses, in contrast to the bright light of Boyle film.
According to insiders, Gary Ross stays on the director's office of "The Hunger Games." Formal negotiations with Simon Bofoe not yet begun, but Lionsgate said, "Catching fire" is priority project, so in the near future we will be determined by a screenwriter.
"Hunger Games" is rolling out in March 23, 2012.
In an interview to resource ComingSoon director George Miller said about the release of animated film "Happy Feet 2 in 3D" and a possible third part of the franchise, explains the reasons for the delay of filming "Mad Max 4: Road Rage" and why the project "Justice League: Mortal " has stalled.
"Theoretically, we will start working next year," - said Miller about the "Mad Max 4: Road Rage," in which a major role will play Tom Hardy. "We have already 150 vehicles."
Watching the draft fans had the opportunity to see some of these machines, when it began production process seemed inevitable. Unfortunately, fate had other plans.
"Everything was going smoothly," - says Miller. "We were ready to start shooting in the Australian desert, when the rain struck this unprecedented and turned what had previously been virtually flat barren wasteland into a flourishing garden. Vast salt plains in the heart of Australia, where usually are speed races, is now teeming with pelicans and fish ... We were left without desert ... "
Despite the hope that production process will begin in 2012, Miller stresses that can’t be anything with certainty until the camera will work.
"You know, John Lennon said:" Life - it's when all that you have scheduled, launches "- smiles Miller. Movies continue to be born in my head, and I never know which one I'll take first. We are going to Common work together to "Justice League". He had to play Green Lantern, but, despite the fact that the project is almost given a "green light", the plans were upset. But I have a really fell in love with a guy, so called him and said: "You can not play the Green Lantern, but what about penguin? "
Casting in "Justice League: Mortal" was completed when the project stalled. In addition to Common, have been invited DJ Kotrona (Superman), Adam Brody (Flash), Armie Hammer (Batman) and Megan Gale (Wonder Woman).
"This happened for several reasons, moreover, was the height of the writers' strike," - says Miller. "In general, draw a specific fault in what happened, or rather did not happen".
At the moment, however, Miller has no regrets about any of them unrealized projects, but rather looking forward to the continuation of animated film "Happy Feet".
"People really think," What happened? "With me" - laughs Miller. "But I really love the" Happy Feet "... I like to shoot these cartoons, I capture the process. They are incredibly hard to do, they require much time and effort."
At one time, completing work on the first part, Miller knew that he would certainly want to shoot a sequel. Will there be a third trip, with the same confidence he could not yet say.
"It sounds funny, but if you put a gun to my head and say," You must shoot the "Happy Feet 3", I reply, "Shoot!" I do not have the faintest idea of what may be the third part. Stories, like, get into you ... You're just letting them creep into your head through your ears, as if they were earthworms, and from there they then do not drive. If this happens, and we get the energy boost, we'll take the third part. In another way, will not work: the idea must be present. I really like the second movie was better than the first.”
The actress has already tried her hand at short films, and now going to take her first feature film. Scarlett Johansson is going to film debut novel, Truman Capote, "Summer Cruise".
For the first time Scarlett stood on the other side of the camera for the "New York, I love you." However, her short film with Kevin Bacon has not been included in cinema almanac and was issued as a bonus disc with the film.
Now Johansson will work serious. Producer of "The Deer Hunter" Barry Spaykings, received "Oscar" for best film, is in charge of adaptation of Truman Capote novel.
"Summer Cruise" is the debut work of the writer. Draft dated 1943 year. After 10 years, Capote returned to the novel, something copied, but the first book was published only after his death in 2005. For 50 years, the manuscript was considered lost.
"Summer Cruise" action is developing in New York in the hot summer of 1945. Parents of 17 year old Grady McNeil sail to Europe, leaving their daughter alone in the big city. The girl falls in love with the employee of car park, marries him and is expecting a baby.
The script writes a New York playwright Tristayn Skyler.
Scarlett Johansson is currently in Scotland, where she filmed in the thriller "Under the skin" directed by Jonathan Glazer. In the near future, the actress will be seen in the melodrama "We bought a zoo," and in the comic movie "The Avengers."
The main character, Will Salas (Justin Timberlake), by reason of his own boundless generosity (apparently, he grafted his father) saves the wealthy Henry Hamilton (Matthew Bomer) from the "watchmen" - micro-analog of organized crime, not very good people who steal people's time. But it turns out that Hamilton himself, who is 105 years old, not eager to move on, because it just so bored with the seemingly fascinating process. Omitting some details, our hero, the other day, who lost mother (Olivia Wilde), resulting gets 116 years and the money, goes to the city center, the seat of power and time of the haves, the desire to be burnt by the justice and years of life to the masses.
Oh yeah, almost forgot - he's learned the truth, that, say, it is enough time for everybody. Just greedy grabbers snickering do not want to share, because the "immortality is chosen lives of ordinary people."
In short, "In Time" is suffering from a variety of details relating to the main logical component of the film. But there is a painting and one major drawback - it is completely filled up the idea. The idea, apparently, was not just good - it was beautiful. With such a plot it will be able to catch few important awards. But, certainly good attempt to combine dynamism with philosophical delights, Niccol, as often happens when chasing two hares at, stayed out of work.
But let's leave buried meaning under the weight of traffic. Another thing that is unpleasant affects in "Time" - a terrifying absence of thorough the world, which naturally leads to a decrease in believability. In addition to the unusual currency, the only thing that separates what is happening on the screen of what is happening in real life - is the speed of gait characters in different parts of the city. Alas, but that's all. Honestly, I really expected to see the future, with a capital letter. No, I do not mean flying cities and teleportation station, I mean pretty much what it was in "I, Robot" Alex Proyas, "Equilibrium" by Kurt Wimmer, or at least in the "Island" by Michael Bay. At least some little futuristic drop. Yes, even to design cars have changed, so we should not dream of transforming the characters around the world!
Fortunately, the film is stretched in places on its actors. This is, first of all, Justin Timberlake, again proving his acting worth. We can not, however, call his game very different, sometimes he exaggerates the drama, but does his role as it is more than worthy. Another is "tractor" can be named Cillian Murphy, who plays a conditional antagonist, a faithful guardian of their work time.
In spite of its infinite potential, "Time" is not an outstanding film, which boasts perhaps that its eyeballs. Completely bungled idea, ending mess of Robin Hood and our refined version of Bonnie and Clyde, to the finale was unscrupulously ousted sluggish action.
This is the third time the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) appoints leading the ceremony of its prize "Golden Globe" to British comedian Ricky Gervais. This is quite a bold decision, considering how in January this year, Ricky has paced by association.
Award HFPA is often criticized because of scandals involving bribery, graft and too close relations with members of the studios. It is not hidden from the eyes and Gervais. The actor went around HFPA painful subject right from the stage. "It was a very important year for 3D, but the heroes of "Tourist". However, I am too hasty. I did not see "Tourist". And what I saw? Probably a good movie, once it was nominated, so shut up! "
The last word belonged to the hall, through which rolled barracking. "I would also like to put an end to rumors that the" Tourist "was nominated to the Hollywood Association of Interpress hang out with Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie. This is complete nonsense. There is another reason. HFPA also takes bribes. "
Due to severe language Rick’s ratings have increased dramatically. Earlier, the audience did not pay much attention to "Golden Globe". Gervais had time to add fuel to the fire this year, leaving in his Twitter post: "Just recommend Billy Crystal did not take my jokes about the Holocaust and pedophiles on" Oscar ". He agreed (true). "
The decision of HFPA to invite Ricky Gervais to the ceremony was a surprise to Hollywood. Still, 17 million viewers - a 5% increase over last year - did the trick. Insiders say that some big stars had threatened to refuse to participate in the ceremony, if it will lead Gervais. Remember also that the HFPA representatives after the January ceremony, said that Ricky had gone too far. Now the organization is divided: half was for Ricky, half - against. Still, ratings have become a decisive argument.
Earlier in the ceremony was not the leading - Gervais appearance last year was the change in regulations.
"Golden Globe" will be shown in January 15, 2012.
