It seems that Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller decided to add the weight to the sequel of film adaptation of the graphic novel "Sin City" and hired the author of "The Departed," William Monahan for polishing of an already existing script.
Monahan wrote scripts to Ridley Scott's two paintings - "Kingdom of Heaven" and "Body of Lies." He shifted to Western-style Hong Kong thriller "Infernal Affairs", making it a crime drama "The Departed." This work brought an “Oscar” to the screenwriter.
Now, Monaghan will revise existing script of Frank Miller "Sin City 2". In July of this year's Robert Rodriguez said that the financing of the sequel is finally settled, and the shooting will start as soon solved the problem with the script. It is likely that even before the end of this year.

- What feeling did you have being on the set?
The feeling was similar to the one you feel coming visit the old school where you were the coolest pepper, and suddenly, you realize that everywhere there are a lot of cool guys from new generation. MTV has renewed for second season its new comedy Awkward. The series has started on July 19 and then collected 1.7 million viewers. The latest episode has 1.9 million visitors, rating in the category of 12-34 was also the highest - 2.0.
