1). Studio Paramount is planning a screen version of novellas "The Forgotten". This literary psychological thriller has been written by Kate Patrick and is forthcoming in the near June. The company looked closely at itself and the actress for the lead role - Haley Staynfeld. Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage will produce the film.
The plot is built around 16-year old London Lane, whose memory is erased each time before she is going to bed. The next morning the girl has only snippets of memories of her future and descriptions of the people which will play some role in her life. While studying in high school, she focused on her own records and her close friend. But soon London noticed disturbing flashbacks. Now to know her own past became the first necessity task.
The young actress Staynfeld became popular after the film of Coen brothers' "True grit", where she played Mattie Ross, the avenger of her murdered father, who has hired a killer Marshal Rooster Cogburn (Jeff Bridges). For her work on the tape, Haley has won a nomination for an Oscar in the category "Best Actress".
2). The star of "40 year old virgin" and "Date Night" Steve Carell is thinking about participation in the film "Great Hope Springs" by David Frankel, the main role in which will be performed by Meryl Streep.
The script for the painting wrote Vanessa Taylor, known for work on such television projects as "Jack and Bobby," "Everwood" and "Alias."
Heroes of the movie - a married couple who are married over 30 years and trying with the help of Dr. Feld (and it will play Carell), dealing with the issue of family alliances, to kindle their relationships.

Cult horrormaker Dario Argento engaged Netherlands actor to participate in his movie "Dracula" by Bram Stoker. Rutger Hauer will play Dr. Van Helsing in the film, which will be shouted in three-dimensional format.

The last picture, was greeted with public enthusiasm, based on phony trailer, removed the young Scottish filmmaker and won the contest, which is organized by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez in honor of the release of "Grindhouse".

Studio Sony has acquired the rights to the comic book "Zombies vs. Robots." It was at the heart of the movie script called "Inherit the Earth". To produce the project will be the company of Michael Bay's - Platinum Dune.
Action of comics is developing in post-apocalyptic world where the only surviving representative of the human race is the girl, who has been protected by army of robots from invasion of zombies. In contrast to the usual to the audience breathless walking dead zombies in the comics they will be advanced and smart creatures.
Three scientists have created a time portal and sent robots to the future. They have returned together with the deadly virus that killed almost all people on Earth. Only one little girl has survived. And she is protected by the robots, which are planning with the help of her DNA to re-populate the planet. However, zombies are not going to miss opportunity to eat the last human.
Creators have already thought continuation of this story, which will be called "Zombies vs. Robots vs. Amazons."
Who will undertake to direct the film is not yet known. Application form on scenario has already written Jay T. Petty, a former writer of video games, who has shot a series of horror films directly on video.

The movie by Jean-Pierre Melville is one of the vertices of the French criminal cinema. The hero of Alain Delon, Koryo, lefts prison, having a large fire at a jewelry store. At the same time from the convoy, jumped out the window train, escapes gunman Vogel (Gian Maria Volonte). Along the way he saves the Koryo. Together criminals decide to organize a robbery, taking the third member the vegetative former policeman Jensen (Yves Montand). Gnomeo and Juliet review

Watching a lot of animated cartoons by studio Pixar, viewers accustomed to the fact that they are designed for the widest audience, i.e. such cartoons will be funny for children and their parents. Yes, and what must be confessed, often adults themselves without kids go to watch the cartoons, and rejoice humor and warm, cozy atmosphere of something good and bright.
But here released cartoon "Gnomeo and Juliet" and takes us back to earth - it is just that type of cartoon that will be much more interesting for children and almost unbearable for adults.
This story unfolds in a beautiful garden with conflict between two companies of gnomes - blue and red. Son of the blue gnome’s leader Gnomeo falls in love with the daughter of the head of the red one - Juliet. From this and starts its development rather peculiar interpretation of the famous play by William Shakespeare - Romeo and Juliet.
Though of course, fans of the original version may even be glad that the greatest love story in this cartoon has ended as it should be in all positive tales.
Despite the seriousness of Shakespeare's source, some very dramatic events in the cartoon we will not be shown here in general, all is bright and positive. A large part of the plot has extremely weak and only "baby" jokes.
Apart from a couple of interesting jokes here and mention something almost nothing: video sequence comparison with the same works of Pixar does not hold, for some memorable and spectacular scenes here (except, perhaps, a brawl with the lawn mower) are absent, but a very touching music by Elton John (by the way, one more small positive moment) is not able to save the situation.
Such cartoons have not been released for a long time and perhaps we simply lost the habit of such "pure child" of animation projects, but still today there are far more interesting representatives of the genre, and therefore criticism of "Gnomeo and Juliet" is well-founded
The main conclusion from the facts above can be the following: those who’ll get while watching to switch on his inner child, then they will enjoy a cartoon. Other people are better to avoid this cartoon.

Star of "L.A Confidential" and "Memento" Guy Pearce, in an interview with the resource Collider spoke about his new projects - "Lockout" and "Do not be afraid of the dark" and about his involvement in the movie "The King’s speech".
- Do you like to participate in press conferences that are held after the screening?
Well, yes, it's fun. I was little late to the show and meeting with journalists, because I was out in connection with another project. But anyway, I am very pleased that our reunion, though, happened (laughs).
- Here you sign a contract to participate in the project, hoping that everything will turn out, and finally happened - lots of people talking about a picture with your participation ("The King’s speech") and "Social network" as two best films of the year. What do you feel about it?
Feelings are amazing, not much different from those that I felt after the victory of "The Hurt Locker".
- Now there is the most magical time of year when we can see all these great movies.
Agreed. "The King’s speech" - a great movie. I am impressed with the director's work and play of Colin, Jeffrey, Helena, but especially Colin. Very unusual acting work. Recalling his role in "Single Man", in films about Bridget Jones, well, you'll be amazed by his performance in "King". Besides, for me it was a real pleasure to work with him on one stage. I am glad that I happened to be his on-screen brother.
- There is another interesting project with your participation - "Do not be afraid of darkness".
And here I was faced with something new, I mean that the genre of thriller/horror for me is unusual. And, again, another cool Producer - Guillermo del Toro, who works with the director, who shot a very interesting short film "Latchkey's Lament". This is a stunning work and I recommend it to everybody to see. In short, there was a very similar situation: I work with a producer, which also makes films, and is able to search these young talents (director), then together they write the script".
- Do you already have plans for 2011?
I started to pick up scripts, in fact, I've read a couple of things last year, knowing that I might find this useful in the present. But I'm still not ready to think seriously about new projects (Laughs). Although I am confident that in a week I’ll start thinking about the future, now I have to go to the bottom and gently breathe (laughs).
- Once you and Nolan have gotten such a great creative alliance like "Memento", wouldn’t you want to ask him: "If you want I'll help you with Batman?"

- I remember the summer of 2009, you expressed the hope to play in a movie based on the mini-series, Wolverine (1982) by Chris Clermont and Frank Miller, which takes place in Japan. And now you do this under the guidance of director Darren Aronofsky. Probably, you are very worried.
Oh, yes, my heart pounding at a furious pace. I have a feeling that the planets were in the right order, thus the film has turned great. At last, we have a hero corresponding to the mythology of the universe Marvel, because at the time when began work on the film "X-Men", I’ve wandered here and there, reading comics and trying to find desired image. Before I was offered the role of Logan, I have not read any of them. I remember my words to producer Lauren Schuler Donner: "Lauren, I do not know about you, but I really liked the Japanese story. It is brilliant." And we from time to time back to this conversation. I even wanted to bring this story in the third movie about the X-Men, but then we decided that first we should find out who is originally was Logan, what we did in the fourth part of the "X-Men Origins: Wolverine". And now, for me personally, it is time to dessert with a cherry on top in the form of Darren Aronofsky. I like his enthusiasm and look at the new project. Note that this is not a sequel, it is an independent product, and I think the audience later will recognize him as the best among all others.
- Yes, it would be better if your words were true. After all, with such rich material, the director of "Black Swan" and "The Wrestler" should meet all our expectations.
Expectations, of course, are high, but Darren - one of the greatest directors. I worked with him on "The Fountain" and from the first seconds I knew that it would be cool to shoot movies with him.
