The film "My Sister's keeper" - a new project of director of a hard film "Alpha Dog" Nick Cassavetes. It must be said that the new film from director turned no less stringent. Frame by frame the movie is becoming harder and harder. Parents are trying to save a sick child, who spent most of his life in medical wards, due to injury quite healthy and cheerful baby. And the movie sort of shot is not so depressing, and not all the dramatic moments, but my heart is becoming nastier and nastier. This film - one of the few dramas, which suits both men and women alike, is not only the drama of tender feelings (usually referred to as melodrama), but the heavy drama of life.
Almost all the actors of the film showed aerobatics. Particularly commendable actors played children (Abigail Breslin and Sofia Vassilieva) and Cameron Diaz, recently once again having taken a high rate of shootings in films and what else to do? In my opinion the role of Sarah - the best in the career of Cameron Diaz. In this film she had to use more internal qualities rather than external. And the children ... they are magical! In the film it's very difficult to play professionally for children to show emotions, so that they look at this. But after watching this movie becomes convinced that for the stellar performances is not so important acting training or age, the main thing ... talent. Completes the composition colorful and rich soundtrack.
"My Sister's keeper" - not the best choice for summer view in the cinema, when it's the sun and beauty, and the soul requires pleasant conversation. This film is more suited to a contemplative (though each in its own way) view on a DVD at home.

Sylvester Stallone, without exaggeration is called a legend in Hollywood. Probably there is no person aged between 12 and 72 years who did not know his characters Rocky and Rambo.
You can relate to his career and work differently, but it should be noted that he still left his mark on movie history, at least in one of its most popular genres - action movie. After almost five years away actor is judged by the audience his new job, where he was a screenwriter, director, producer, and performer of one of the main roles. The film "Expendables" this month will appear on our screens. About this in the interview with Sylvester Stallone.
- And how did you get to gather such legendary names in one movie?
I had to beg and kneel, cos' I wanted to get these guys. When you do not have enough money to pay good actors as much as they deserve, nothing left - only to kneel and ask for a favor. (Laughs)
It's very difficult to coordinate the appearance of Bruce (Willis) and Arnold (Schwarzenegger). Bruce is always somewhere on the other end of the world, and Arnold in his governor's chair. But they are old school guys. In general, persuaded the others were not so difficult, they are all actors of the old school and know a little about a good action-movie. Young was a little different. Jason (Statham) and Randy (Couture) has never worked in the movie where almost no CGI or some other tricks. I told them, that much we are doing by ourselves, and it will not be easy, all the tricks they will perform themselves. I promised them that, maybe it will seem a nightmare at some point, but eventually they will get satisfaction from done, because few people in our time falls opportunity to work in the film, where everything is done with their own hands.
- Does this mean that you do not trust modern technology?
No, in no case. Modern technology in movie - a wonderful thing, who could argue?! But, in my opinion, many are too zealous with it. Generally bust in one direction or another provides the film a disservice. Did you see "The Kingdom" or all of these "Born" series?
- How, in your opinion, has been evolving thriller in the last twenty years, ever since you became involved in films of this genre ?
(Surprised) What a question! (Laughs) We're seeing more action on the screen and little in the actual plot. With such a passion for new technologies from the actor is required less and less, and more knowledge from the director of technical details. I do not know how good or bad, but the genre takes a good old realism in my opinion, fed-up with all these innovations is not against the viewer back to something simpler, but realistic in execution. After "Rambo" I've realized that sometimes do not mean better, sometimes less - is better, then there is room for pleasure, for the story. In our film there is action, of course, as without it a blockbuster, but not every second - the very beginning of the tape rather calm and allows the viewer to understand who is who in this story.

- How all this took place on the stage, who was the most unstoppable? (Laughs) irresistible?
You know, most normal and calm were the strongest guys like Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Steve Austin. The most artistic and unpredictable was, perhaps, Jason (Statham). He is very good, deep actor, thinking. He did not need much to explain, suffice it to say: "Go and do it!" - And he did everything right. Mickey (Rourke), he - like a wild stallion: you do not need him to say, just let him go, to let his acting genius to create. Oh, cannot miss Eric Roberts - it is quite another "animal". You know what I mean?
He is amazing, eccentric actor. However, it was easy with them all! I never met a "normal" good actor. A good actor is always a little crazy. (Laughs)
- And why did Steven Seagal and Jean-Claude Van Damme have refused to participate in your project ?
Steve is busy with his own TV show and takes off somewhere in the south, he has just not had the time, he's a producer. And Claude was philosophical reasons (shakes his head as if in surprise) he plans to turn his career in a completely different direction, wants to try his hand at drama. I respect to such things. For him, it is important, and I understand why. But I hope that our film was not injured. Dolph (Lundgren) came into the picture, he is a cool guy and a smart actor.
- Probably, it was difficult to get the governor to the shooting during his stay in the official title?
You don't even imagine! What he has done for me, was a strong friendly gesture. He was great to get from opponents for participating in the project, while the state is in such poor condition. He came to the shooting at 4:00 am, when the office is still closed, and with the first rays of the sun was already on the way back. His fee, something around 390 dollars, he gave to the treasury of the State, so it has not been any claims for payment for work "on the side". (Laughs.) Bruce at the end of the scene went to the airport and flew to Turkey on business as if it never happened. That's all not so easy.
- Do you think over the second film about the "Expendebles"?
Oh, yes, yes. I would like to continue. One my friend has told me: "You must ask yourself whether you need the pleasure of the pain that you get in the process?" Hmm ... Probably worth it. (Laughs.) It was a lot of pain in the process. But I told my team that has never been so happy that the movie was completed and all survived. I have an idea to continue. International ensemble cast, the characters militants from around the world (smiles). I have had guys in mind. There will be no villain from a particular country would not be politically motivated, but action games, plenty of action, real fights, not CGI. I want to make a movie for a younger audience, so it captures the imagination. You'll see! The idea is cool, as long as the first film of the interested spectators so that they wanted to see these heroes and many others again.
- Have you already written a script? And will you be in director's chair again?
All is being in the process. To write the script is simple enough, difficult concept to put the idea into the project. If you make a movie yourself as a director, then all you have going for almost two years. Some actors manage to make five movies during this time! If I decide to make a second film about the "Expendables", it will not seek another director, of course. Another director would make another movie. This is the case with "The Godfather" - cannot change director for the sequel.
Viggo Mortensen and Amy Adams will be “On the road”

During the thirty years Francis Ford Coppola has been trying to film the novel by Jack Kerouac "On the road", but the project is taking shape under the guidance of director Walter Salles. Viggo Mortensen and Amy Adams joined the cast of the film, which has already been approved: Sam Riley, Garrett Hedlund, Kirsten Dunst and Kristen Stewart.
"On the Road" is the main work of Kerouac, who called the king of the hot rods. Rookie writer Sal Paradise meets a young drifter and car hijackers Dean Moriarty, Dean lives in his pleasure and not think about tomorrow. Together they set out to wander across America. Sal served as the prototype of Kerouac himself.
Consuming benzedrine and coffee, Kerouac wrote his entire novel in just three weeks. The manuscript is one continuous roll length of 36 m: ending typewritten pages, the author of tape glued to the previous one. Until now, "On the Road" is included in all lists of major works of English authors of the twentieth century.
Kerouac's alter ego in the Salles film will play an Englishman Sam Riley, who has received critical acclaim and audience after the drama "Control", where he played the role of lead singer of Joy Division. Interestingly, Salles was going to shoot "On the road" on a black and white film. If this is so, then Riley prescribes in the filmography of the second black-and-white film that is not so often seen in modern cinema.
The image of Dean Moriarty, Kerouac copied from his friend Neal Cassady, one of the most important figures of the Beat Generation. Cassidy is also known as "the world famous prototype" because he served as a prototype of many literary heroes. In the film, Salles approved Garrett Hedlund to this role, which woke up famous after the release of the blockbuster "Tron: Legacy".
Amy Adams will play an emotionally unstable drug addict and mother of two children, wife of a hero named Old Bull Lee - this role and got Viggo Mortensen. Adams continues to replenish his filmography characters from the 60's. Recently it became known that the actress will play singer Janis Joplin in the biopic, which will shot Fernando Meirelles.

Walter Salles for five years is trying to run "On the road" in production. He is so devoted to the project that made a documentary film "In Search of On the Road" about his problems with the movies. Earlier this year, the director finally got the funding, and it is put into motion.

Louise plays her character a hundred percent, vividly and emotionally, coming from all liability to the case, she looks spectacular in the frame, famously changed appearance, and even manages to straddle a prehistoric reptile.
There is absolutely everything for fun. Interesting story, in which intertwine the revived mummies and hatched pterodactyl, pretty and purposeful with a brave heroine, ready to break between life and death for the sake of his sister, an abundance of humor and comic scenes, beautiful erotic scene in the bathroom, a love story and the amazing extraordinary adventure, linking all the above in a fascinating chain of events that makes you want to continue.
Not enough here 3D, which Luc Besson doesn't like, although almost all of his project on this technology would benefit by becoming an even more spectacular and impressive. In the rest of the particular claims of the film is not there. A masterpiece from the master of directing and staging, the product of his genius entertainment, in which everything was great!
Wonderful music, good graphics, which even if it is felt in places, but it still looks nice and impressive, unlike the much more expensive some of Hollywood's handicrafts.
A lot of action and special effects, the beauty and secrets of antiquity - a movie that wants to watch again and again, expecting more and more new adventures of Adele Blanc-Sec.

- How did Chris Nolan explain to you the philosophy of history and its own history, in which you had to work?
This is a story about dreams and an implicit distinction between dream and reality. I learned one interesting thing, working in "Inception": it turns out that part of the brain that creates our dreams and allows us to feel them, active and when we are awake. All that you see in reality, your brain is perceived and processed there in such a way as to reproduce in a dream as a kind of history. All this is done the same part of your brain. All this made me think: "How do you determine what is real and what - a dream?" And I came to the conclusion that human life - is a continuous creative act. - Maybe being an actor, you came closest to creating a new reality ...

- Where did you find your hero? Who is he - Arthur?
This guy ... Hmm. Much of what I learned about him has a physical basis. He is a kind of soldiers, if you want a very competent person in terms of physical presence in a strange dream. That is, he is certainly not a soldier, but rather a spy or a thief. We have the scene of fights in his sleep, such as, for example, a fight almost weightless. I had to train a lot before shooting, to recruit good physical shape, learn to work on insurance, training in the spinning room, to develop a stable balance. It was necessary to have a very good training in order to spend a day of shooting in that room with stuntmen. I took a lot of training on Rules of Engagement. Really learned a lot.
- At what point in life you realize that you have the talent to create a new reality that is a completely different man and his world, if you talk about your acting ability?
You know, everyone is able to do this. We are creating something different. We all assume our own character and decide who we will today or every day. Sometimes it seems that the world dictates to us who we are or should be, but you do not have to listen to this - you yourself can decide and choose the time, the starting point: "No, I'm quite different now, or I'm not the one who was five minutes ago." Acting confirms this. Acting - is a skill, and when to do it seriously, and then you can achieve a good level.
- Have you learned something by Christopher Nolan in the process of working with him?

Tracking all projects of Ridley Scott - is rather time-consuming task. For example, two years ago, the director expressed his desire to film Joe Haldeman novel "Forever War". About the film talking up the other day, when it became known that the scriptwriter of "Blade Runner" by David Webb Peoples took over the processing of pre-existing adaptation.
Ridley Scott wanted to make "Endless war" immediately after "Blade Runner", but then in the 80's did not work: the rights to the book after its publication in 1974 acquired the effects guru Richard Edlund. He personally was going to film the novel, when planning his directorial debut.
The book eventually became a cult status, but Edlund, won two Academy Awards - for the fourth episode of "Star Wars" and the first part of the "Indiana Jones" - and was unable to start work on the tape. Once the channel Sci-Fi miniseries postponed production on Holdemanu, Ridley Scott once again interested in the book.
And now Edlund went to meet the director. The novel "Endless War" was recognized as a classic example of military fiction. It was awarded the prestigious Hugo Award and Nebula. Thus, the "Inception" adhered to "Avatar", "Alice in Wonderland" and "Shrek forever", which also won three times in the course of the year. Remarkably, all these movies came out in 3D, and latest projects with such achievement in the 2D-format were "Dark Knight" and "Tropic Thunder" in July-August 2008.
With its new success "Inception" has risen to the seventh line on the charts this year, beating a Sunday cartoon "Despicable Me". Nearly two hundred IMAX cinemas have provided 3.4 million dollars of fresh revenue and 22 million dollars for the entire release period.
At the international box office for the first time the picture came out the winner, earning $ 55 million in 47 territories over the weekend with the general insurer in 171.5 million dollars (364.8 million worldwide).
Better than others among the trio of debutants made comedy "Dinner for Schmucks", which on Friday for one day, even managed to lead movie release chart. However, on second place in the weekend's ambitions paintings Jay Roach is not stretched, but here all the main competitors are left far behind.

Never before had a major release in 3D is not collected at the start so little, especially with such a huge number of cinemas and screens. Released in rent to the Independence Day holiday, nine years ago, the original film earned 21.7 million USD for the three-day and 35.8 million for the first five days of release.

The French film "Concert" has been released in one cinema in the same cities, earning 20,1 thousand dollars for a three-day (10 050 with the institution). In a very similar situation comedy has launched the "Extra Man" with John C Reilly, Paul Dano, Kevin Klein and Katie Holmes, in an asset which is 18,9 thousand dollars for the first three days of release (9431 dollar theater).
At next week's clash with the "Inception" and the rest of the rent will come two new releases. Here is a favorite of police comedy "The Other Guys" with Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg, released in 3400 cinemas. Cage was supposed to play a husband of the heroine Nicole Kidman. In the story they are held hostage by four bandits seeking easy money.
Shooting begins in two weeks in Louisiana. But a couple of weeks ago, the actor decided that he does not want to play the role of the hostage, but instead will be a negative character. Studio went to meet him and gave him the role of the perpetrator. In spouses heroine Kidman has been appointed Liv Schreiber, but he still only considers the contract. Next, Nicolas Cage has disappeared.
