Travis Guba biography
Travis is a graduate of both NYU: Tisch School of the Arts and The American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, from which he holds a MFA in Acting. He has appeared in several theater productions in NYC as well as the BAY area. Highlights include: "TEX" in "-14: an American Maul" (dir. Robert O'hare), "Atreus in "Thyestes" (dir. Julie Boyd) and "Go Sankei" in "Coaxinga" (dir. Moises Kaufman). After graduating from NYU, Travis taught High School in Northern California and started a theater company for several years until deciding to continue his training at A.C.T. He returned to NY in 2000 where he was cast at "Ernie" in "the Energy Specialists". He has guest-starred in "Law and Order: SVU", "Chapelle's show", and recently in the film "The Lobster Farm" (dir. Kevin Jordan). He has starred in several commercial campaigns over the past 4 years. Children will recognize him as "Zack" on Nick Jr. Playalong, where he continues to host the morning block of cartoons with his sidekick Robin and the Feetbeats!
