Paul Goetz biography
Paul Steven Goetz was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He went to
Crestwood Elementary School and moved on to Sperreng Middle School
where he played Mike Teevee in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". At
Lindbergh High School, his acting career continued with such plays and
musicals as "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "Guys and Dolls". Paul also
tried his first shot at writing with a history-project-turned-movie
starring some of his classmates.
He is now a professional actor in Los Angeles, California. He spent
several years working both on stage and in front of the camera in St.
Louis before making the move to Hollywood. He has appeared in numerous
independent and student films, a continuing web series ("The Lou") and
recently appeared alongside George Clooney in Jason Reitman's
Oscar-nominated "Up in the Air."
In 2008, Paul also appeared in "Meet Bill," starring Aaron Eckhart &
Jessica Alba. What was originally supposed to be a two line part was
improvised into a five line scene and, after stellar audience
reactions, ultimately led to an additional scene being written
specifically for Paul's character. Paul also received the "Best Acting"
award at the Webster Student Film Festival for his role in "Two Fine
Gentlemen Find a Dollar."
