Sheila Shaw biography
A Florida native who worked at Cypress Gardens as a teenager selling
orange juice and was a former teen golf champion in the area as well,
Sheila plays a recurring guest star on AMC's Emmy-winning dramatic hit
series Mad Men in the role of Jeannie Vogel,
mother-in-law to troubled ad man Pete Campbell.
Active in the Los Angeles local theater for over 20 years, Sheila
recently appeared in a critically-acclaimed production of
Tennessee Williams "Orpheus Descending" starring
Gale Harold. One of her particular favorites was as the
child-like May Bee Burley in Theatre West's premiere of "Verdegris",
which earned her both the Los Angeles Weekly and Drama-Logue awards. It
was this role that led to her subsequent casting in
Arthur Miller (I)'s "All My Sons" at the Los Angeles Theater
Center which starred Bill Pullman, Philip Baker Hall and
the late Nan Martin (I).
