Joseph Luis Caballero biography

Joe enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps Infantry in 1988. After completing Infantry Training School (ITS), Joe was assigned to Marine Barracks 8th and I, Washington D.C. for White House Duty as Presidential Honor Guard. Everyday duties included prestigious ceremonial assignments as well as continuous and vigorous combat infantry training.

In 1989, the Commandant of the Marine Corps. (At the time, General Al Grey) activated a company of 8th and I Marines to the Gulf War. Joe was among the Marines who served as a machine gunner on the front lines. Joe was discharged in April of 1992 after serving with 2/7 at the U.S. Marine Air/Ground Combat Center located in 29 Palms California.

Going back to Chicago was the first move and a few years later, Ground Pound Fitness was established. In addition to private security work and military fitness training, Joe went full force studying everything from improv and scene study to performance art and acting in film and television.

His first feature documentary film entitled "The Meat Tricks," premiered in two film festivals on the west coast. The featured documentary won First Place Finalist for Best Documentary at the 1st Annual Westwood International Film Festival in L.A., California. In 2007/2008
