Holt Boggs biography
Holt Boggs was born and raised in Houston, Texas for the most part. The
son of a geologist, he and his family traveled the world for several
years living in Africa, Indonesia, Singapore and Jakarta before
returning to Texas. Shortly there after, his parents got divorced and
he and his little brother went to live with their mother back in
Houston.
With little money in the bank, his mother took odd jobs to make ends
meet and the family moved around quite often. He never lived in any one
place or went to the same school for more than a couple of years at a
time.
Holt has an estranged relationship with his father and hasn't spoken to
him since he was 19 years old. Still close to his brother, his mother
died of cancer in 2004.
Classically trained, he studied acting at a two year conservatory
program in Dallas before moving to Los Angeles. He met director William
Kaufman on the set of a short film prior to graduation and the two have
been working together ever since. They co-wrote The Prodigy and several
unproduced screenplays.
